One thing we do as human - atleast responsible humans - is to overthink and over-analyze things. While this can be good for being pragmatic and for having backup plans incase things go wrong, as they usually do in life, it sometimes leads to what Oyibo people call ANALYSIS PARALYSIS - you overcalculate and end up not doing anything.

But as most of us grew up into matured adults (not just in age lol), we realized that there were many things that we overreacted to, over-worried about that really shouldn't have been much of a big deal, we know better today - well, we now have new adult anxieties 😅 - maybe we'll realize again that it's not a big deal when we're Octogenarians.

So share your experience. What are some things you generated too much anxiety about as a teenager or young adult that in hindsight, you should have just said F-it and do what needs to be done anyways. Your experience could help someone currently in that phase of their lives.

As a teenager, I worried so much about my looks and what people thought about me. You now look back and realize it is hormones

One thing I do not regret overthinking about as a teenager was working on improving myself because I matured faster than my mates. While they were still thinking like teenagers, I was already walking with the old men and learning from them. I saw life early and knew that your younger age is the best time to improve your life, don't waste it on teenage behaviour that can cost you a lifetime of regret because you did stopeeed things, you give girl belle or you wan impress people. Do everything you can to improve your life at this stage, when you grow older, you know the ones that are for you and not for you with age and wisdom

Each time I swallow fruit seed, mostly orange I always cried and looked for excess water to drink cos my mom had told me the seed will grow in my belle if I don’t kill it with enough water. Growing up now I just laugh it off with her anytime I’m with her. Infact our parents were the ones who killed trust in us. 😂😂😂😂
