Hello Fellow Nairalanders

Please I need a legal advice real quick.
Some.weeks ago, my Girlfriend was scammed along with some members of her Facebook group by a Digital Creator called "Mummy Chubi" through a ponzi scheme app called Glamour which is no longer active

The issue is that a day before the app crashed, the said mummy chubi through one of her agents, had convinced these gullible group of men and mostly women to register on the platform with a promise of quick return of their investment.

They did and their money went down the chute.The issue now is that these women spearheaded by my girlfriend are desperate women with wounded prides. One of them in particular lost her long awaiting pregnancy after 5 years of waiting. They have gone on a revenge mission after the said Mummy Chubi to take down her Facebook page and that of her husband's. They've succeeded in taking down two over a period of less than 2 weeks using massive negative reporting technics to Facebook. Her third page is shaking as i write this.

What's new is that Mummy Chubi has sought legal counsel against my girlfriend's motley team that she has no moral grounds to settle the case by refunding them their money.

What i just want is the legal advice of a lawyer on this forum who can procure a lasting solution to this ongoing tussle. She wanna know what legal step to take that will put the woman in a bind and either make her settle this embittered women or grant them some victory.

Will be eagerly waiting for a quick and wise advice.

Funny enough I also joined same group where they taught us about investing and earning with glamour.

It sounded too good to be true, didn't even bother paying a dime.

If the woman sued ur babe legally,fine.

Make a report to the police first and get the list of everyone she duped except she is not the owner of the ponzi.

If she is the owner or an accessory to the ponzi scheme...she might be going to jail.

No be who call police dey win case.
