No. It doesn't work on iPhone with their strict restrictions. It's mostly for Android & PC users.
I can't find the app anywhere. The one I downloaded on Palmstore is rubbish

With this your review, I just know I've finished the whole movie, there's nothing left to watch again.
He did it deliberately.

gbàrooms (2026).

The hype sold a better movie than this

Again, I think we're using the phrase "movie of the year" too loosely these days, and at this point, it has lost all its meaning.

If there is a list of films hyped up to the highest heavens since the turn of the year, this absolutely mid flick would be in the top three.

Now, me and the horror genre have stopped seeing eye to eye for a while now. I simply do not care for it. It doesn't excite me. But I was promised a really good time with this, and I'm still left stewing in the pre-c*m of that promise.

A psychological thriller, the first act was totally killing it. The disillusioned and probably bitterly divorced man trying to seek redemption from the pitiable life he had been living, and a therapist helping him get there whilst wrestling with a seemingly troubled past herself. They didn't really flesh out this story properly; they just jumped into the second and third acts, which had zero correlation with the first act, answering questions the first act absolutely didn't ask.

The cinematography and the sound design, as you could have guessed from the trailer, were top work. Spiralling, closed-ended rooms and eerie sounds set a true horror ambience, but they lost me by being overly vague with key details that would have made the film worth my while. I personally don't like things handed to me by the filmmakers when watching a film, but if you're overdoing the vagueness for the sheer fun of it, then I think you've made a not so good film.

The thing I keep hearing is that the director is 20 years old, and perhaps that contributed to the hype... like, boo freaking hoo. And so? This lad might be an industry plant. He wasted the talents of the two leads, especially one who is at the absolute prime of her career.

Now, is it watchable? Perhaps, yes. But it could do without the hype. It nowhere matched it in delivery. Difficult, difficult recommend.

5/10.

Obsession (2025).

Kinda meh.

Again, what are we even doing? Have we lost touch with what a really, really good film looks like because we've seen so much slop over the last few years?

I billed today as the perfect day to watch perhaps the two most hyped films of recent times, and after gbàrooms, I immediately started this. It didn't fare any better either.

A lovestruck bozo wishes upon a mythical object that his crush falls head over heels for him, but the results were very far from what he expected.

The story was so ordinary that I was confidently fast forwarding through it, and I didn't lose any important details. I had coined the perfect opening line for this review: "Be careful what you wish for." But I changed my mind at the last minute. I couldn't waste such a good line on this mid-fest.😩😩

Again, my expectations were through the roof, and again, I was disappointed. I could have been totally fine without seeing this, and if you avoid it too, you wouldn't miss anything... trust me 😔

5/10.

lol when you stuck with a problem, your brain just starts spilling out solutions, both gibberish ones and good ones, and you can make sense of any.. currently in that boat 😩.

I'm thinking, why doesn't Cinemas, offer digital services, like film house doing a simu release of films online and at site, and it hits me, that's what SVOD already do and there wouldn't be the point 😕

I would really love to see "The Odyssey" (2026) tomorrow, which is looking like, is gonna be one of the biggest cinematic events this year but i am currently stuck in a town where the lastest screening, are films from like a year ago! 😩.

I hate, how our film culture is so mute here, outside the big 3 states and some mini states, the cinema game is almost at ground zero. People in Jigawa and Ebonyi, will get to hear about "The Odyssey" around November or so, when it drops on VOD fgs.

I am too wild of cinephile at heart to be living in this hell hole 😔

I can't explain it, but this trailer doesn't even reveal anything new or groundbreaking that we haven't seen in the universe before but it still has this insane aura of a mega blockbuster fgs.

The release date is 2years from now
Ensuring that the DCU will not even get any Batman yet and might even be dissolved by then with all these passion projects Gunn is churning out.
The whole thing is just a mess but I'll be there.

Man I watched the first the odyssey in 2004, I think it's time to rewatch it again. it's been so so long.
I think I watched it around the same period. I watched it more than 10 times back then, so the fatigue is still there for me

I had a link I used to download mine and that app just made me forget about downloading. It has everything, or almost everything. I stopped my Prime and Netflix sub after I got a hold of the app.

The problem is I got the genuine link on Reddit, matter of fact, I stumbled on it luckily and forgot to bookmark the link.

Someone like Glọriousgbola & Oyaskiị̀ should be able to source it for you. Remember it's Moviebox Pro not the normal Moviebox that's thrash.

If you finally succeed in downloading the app, you'd need an invite code from an old member to be able to access it, I can give you that one easily.

But maybe this weekend, remind me, I'll look for the link for you. I might get lucky again.
Thanks. I'll remind you this weekend

The fact people really thought Nolan would make a bad movie

It was never in doubt. I repeat, it's almost humanly impossible for Nolan to make a bad movie.

Beorn:
I can't wait for Nolan to prove doubters wrong. Nolan is one movie maker I trust 95% of the time to deliver. The movie will be a success. I'm damn sure.

SPOILER REVIEW OF THE ODYSSEY! SKIP AND CLOSE YOUR EYES
Christopher Nolan finally made a horror movie, and he just happened to disguise it as a Greek epic.

I went in expecting Interstellar with triremes, but what I got was straight-up nightmare fuel. Nolan’s take on the Cyclops cave is legitimately terrifying—the creature design is what you’d imagine lives under your bed, and the sound design is jarring. When that thing screams, it’s ten times louder than anything else in the movie, making it feel like a literal panic attack. Even the Circe sequence is scary as hell because Nolan treats magic as a dangerous, existential crisis rather than some whimsical fantasy trope.
- The Cast: Matt Damon actually clocks into work here, but John Leguizamo is the massive surprise standout in a role way bigger than the trailers suggested.

Robert Pattinson plays a character you just want to smack, and he absolutely owns it.
- The Cameo Trap: Don't let the posters fool you. Mia Goth is in this for maybe 60 seconds, and Lupita Nyong’o (Helen of Troy) only shows up for about five minutes in fragmented flashbacks.
- The "Let's Go" Moment: That line from the trailer that sounded like a TikToker? Nolan was basically trolling us. In context, the scene plays out completely differently and actually works.
- The Dog Scene: Huge warning for dog lovers—Nolan doesn't shy away from the brutal reality of the time, and there’s a scene involving cruelty to dogs that is genuinely rough to watch.
- The Ending: The first two hours feel a bit disjointed and slow, but the final 45 minutes are the "key to the map." It’s a massive emotional payoff about family and the scars of war that had me holding back tears

It’s dark, high-contrast, and feels physical rather than like a green-screen haze. If you want a grounded, "awesometacular" drama that doubles as a horror flick, this is it.

So Christopher Nolan doesn't miss? WTF man.

6 years to get a sequel.

That's more than the time Denis Villeneuve needed to complete a Dune trilogy.

I have accepted that this is going to be the last Batman movie from Matt Reeves. Regardless of whatever happens to the DCU.

There's no chance he will deliver a trilogy with this slow pace.

Who's to say they won't postpone it again.
DC movies don't usually release in February.

People are about to review bomb this movie which would have nothing to do with the quality of the movie but then just trying to be 'anti-woke' watch how it falls especially the audience reaction

Michael has grossed 1 billion dollars. He has shown once again that he is, and forever will be the greatest of all time in the music industry. Even with all the attention Taylor Swift is garnering at the moment, a biopic of her won't perform this good. I can bet my testes on this.
