Tuchel , you don fvk up today. What on earth makes you to play defensive? Don't you always hear that the best form of defense is attack? See as you remove all the attackers and bring in useless defenders. Against a team like Argentina that you are playing defensive from 70 minutes? Tuchel, are you ok upstairs? Even African team don't exhibit this type of inferiority complex. Cape Verde played Argentina more than this. I am really pained this night |

helinues:Tuchel has never been a good coach... No wonder he couldn't last at Stamford Bridge. He just hides behind top players. As soon as England hired him, I laughed... I told an English friend of mine that they were certainly never winning this world cup with that man's tactics. |

With this win tonight, the World player of the year will definitely be given to Messi. He now has more assist than Mbappe. |

Seriously, defending game is no longer working in football again! Unlike before it works but since from Arsenal vs PSG many coaches studied that game and it is fairly working in world cup. No single game in this world works with packing the bus all teams that played such are now out of the competition. |

It's like I said football does not respect ya feelings. If football respected my feelings, Morroco would have been in the final of the last world cup, Nigeria would have reached three quarter finals and one semi final since 1994, and we would have qualifed and reached the quarters this year, with Osimhen scoring 9 goals by then ( ), Cameroon would have beaten england 2-1 at Italia 90, Ghana would have gone through to the semis of the world cup in 2010, and so on and so forth. (Ajax would have won champions league no 2 in 1996 self).Argentina was better tonight. It's painful, but it is what it is. The better team won tonight. We all can cry they protected Messi, but the better team won tonight. Argentina really takes football as serious as India takes cricket, and it shows. |

| Re: England Vs Argentina: World Cup 2026 Semi-Finals (1 - 2) On 15th July 2026 by Meerahbel: 10:19pm On Jul 15 |
England only have themselves to blame for this one. They were 18 minutes away from a World Cup final, leading 1-0, and instead of looking for the second goal, they retreated into their shell. Argentina punished them with two late goals to win 2-1 and book their place in the final. As a football fan, this is my verdict: * Playing not to lose instead of playing to win. England handed Argentina the initiative. The deeper they sat, the more confidence Messi and his teammates gained. * You cannot defend for 18 minutes against Argentina. This isn't an average team. Give them sustained possession and eventually they'll find spaces. They did exactly that, with Enzo Fernández equalizing before Lautaro Martínez completed the comeback in stoppage time. * No pressure on the ball. England stopped pressing high and allowed Argentina to dictate the tempo. Every clearance simply invited another attack. * Poor game management. There is a difference between controlling a game and parking the bus. England chose fear over control. * Mentality cost them. Champions don't just defend a one-goal lead—they keep asking questions of the opposition. Argentina believed they could still win because England looked more interested in surviving than competing. If you're one goal up with 18 minutes left, you don't hand the keys to Lionel Messi. That's footballing suicide. England had one hand on the trophy, or at least one foot in the final, but they voluntarily surrendered control. Instead of making Argentina worry, they made themselves worry. Every minute they dropped deeper, the equalizer felt more inevitable. This defeat wasn't because Argentina were vastly superior. It was because England abandoned the approach that got them the lead. Fear replaced ambition, and at this level, fear is usually punished. As Sir Alex Ferguson famously said, "Attack wins you games, but courage wins you trophies" England forgot that when it mattered most. If you'd like, I can also break down Thomas Tuchel's tactical mistakes minute by minute and explain exactly where the game slipped away after England went 1-0 up. |

U cant defend against argentina with a creative messi u stop them by out playing them and keeping ur pace and bringing the heat. That frustrates them. |

Why the Argentines were studying Engliand game plans, Tuchel was busy encouraging his players to carry women and have sex to keep fit. The Coach must have been bribed, he killed the dreams of Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham |
