Like late Charlies Kirk said before he was killed it is still a mystery how some Hamas entered a heavily fortified country like Israel where everybody is armed and with rifles, and here are cameras everywhere and operated unchallenged for hours and even carried hostage home.

Israel is a very small country and response from the over ready and alert IDF should have been immediate.

It is also a mystery that Mossad who has the data and location of the Hamas and has carried out pin-point assassinations of Hamas leaders failed to detect any plan etc.

It's similar for me. Seeing the amount of innocent lives Israel took was too much for me. Not to mention the thousands of kids they left orphaned, injured and handicapped without limbs

The hypothetical scenario you gave is understandable. Bombing apartment buildings and the neighboring buildings is what I can never understand. And when they do this, they only tell Israelis that they killed that one terrorist. They won't mention the sometimes hundred plus innocent civilians who were killed in the process

Or is it that Israel does it out of revenge? Their actions don't look strategic. I saw a Palestinian man saying he'll join Hamas after his kid was struck by an Israeli air strike. So Israel is creating the next generation of Hamas?

The only way to solve this is for both sides to compromise. Will that ever happen? I think a new generation of leaders on both sides is the only hope. Younger generations don't like wars

I was shocked to find out that Israel, including Netanyahu, enabled the funding of Hamas. Apparently, they didn't want the Palestinian Authority to have the stability to form a Palestinian state. If Israel really wanted peace, won't they empower the non-terrorist Palestinian Authority? The Palestinian Authority even condemned the Hamas October 7 attack. Imagine

There's more to all this than people see. Netanyahu would have been in prison if not for the October 7 attack and the subsequent war. He probably started the war to avoid prison

The Israeli government is not even telling their people the full truth of the atrocities they committed in Gaza likely because they know Israelis won't like it. Then there are some Israelis who enjoy seeing Palestinians killed anyhow and even mock them. Are those heartless Israelis any better than Hamas?

I just hope younger leaders take over and end this senseless war once and for all

To be honest I supported Israel to deal with the terrorists. But the level of innocent lives lost got me disappointed. However, the modus operandi of Hamas leaves me confused if Israel could have really been able to do it better. I feel the conclusion will be so much more time taken to get their targets with much more casualties on their side. Imagine a terrorist pushing an innocent Palestinian in front of him to shield him while coming out to confront an Israeli soldier. If the soldier should hesitate because of concern for the innocent civilian, he gets killed. What do they do? An Israeli soldier doesn't hesitate to kill both and move on. I think of it, if I'm in his shoe, what will I do? Will I risk being killed or will I risk being labeled genocide soldier? This is just a hypothetical scenario. Israel sees a building with several terrorists and many more civilians. Of they send in foot soldiers, there will be so many casualties. They choose to bomb the whole building. That's extreme. But I can't prove that there's a better way. They will drop information for civilians to move but the terrorists won't let them move. Its a sad situation. I don't know how best to judge it.

If i were a bad person now, i would i have said may you and your family be collateral damage in another man's war, but no, i do not wish you that at all because i have a conscience that helps me empathize with people and see things from their perspective as much as I can. So instead i wish you a healthy long life in the hope that your conscience prevails

It is the duty of the leaders to protect the lead or they step aside.

The leaders of Gaza are using the citizens for cheap political scores. We won't allow such nonsense in this country.
