CyynthiaKiss:So you want US to continue to send their tax payers money to the rogues we have here as government in the name of support to Nigeria? You know very well that such international support does not reach Nigerian citizens. Figure it out yourself. |

drstranged:You have sense and your whole writeup is correct. When I say politicians are naturally selfish, it's a universal thing. Just like he is showing on X, the amendment is there to show his constituents that he cares about "Christianity" despite not doing anything tangible for the Christians affected and dying daily. The same way some of them turn a blind eye when Israel is busy killing Christians and destroying churches in the middle east. Honestly, the kind of "Christianity" or "faith" that is now popular in the world is really revolting, it's the Pharisees/ Sadducees type Jesus talked about endlessly...no one does anything to benefit their brothers anymore but everything to try and seem more Catholic than the Pope!! |

Though Trump is right that Christians are being persecuted especially in the middle belt states but that is not why he withdrew aid. He doesn't like black Africans very much. |

This US logic sef get as e be No aid to Nigerian Government because they are turning blind eyes on persecuted christians Essentially they are saying we are punishing the Nigerian Government for turning blind eyes on persecuted christians This means the US knows the aid does not get to the places it needs to get to in the first place. They know they are just giving free funds to Nigerian Government to to chop life, in the name of aid |

Fvck USA, Fvck their aid, Fvck their house, Who their aid help? Why can't we see the positive effect of their fvcking aid in our economy? In what area are they aiding us. Fvck them, fvck their stinking mouths. Why can't their soldiers put stop to the killing if they really want to help Nigeria Christians? Why can't they go to pastor Damocho village in Plateau and Benue to put stop to that Christians killing if they really have the idea on how to stop it? What was their submission to the killing in Iran, Palestine and some other countries where genocides are currently going on? Hear me clearly, nobody is supporting Christians killing here in Nigeria but the USA government position on it is what I am condemning. The situation the number one world power country cannot put stop to or end it, but suddenly want Tinubu to put stop to it while Buhari himself couldn't do. Get off America! |

Typical American Playbook: Start and fund terrorism, blame the victims and withdraw funding to the victims. They should keep their funding. To the idiot Nigerians lobbying Washington, keep doing it, your people will be ones to suffer the fallout. |

That's not what we want; rather, we prefer the US to deal with the insecurity directly. That way, it won't affect the masses. |

I like the interest USA is showing on the attack by the islamic jihadists against christians in Nigeria but this blanket punishment doesn't help, it's like punishing both the innocent and the guilty together, instead America should try identify and target those individuals and groups within the country and their outside collaborators, aiding, abetting, supporting and sympathetic to those Islamic jihadists. |

This is good... We as Africans must learn to be self reliant... It's this attitude of giving and taking that makes the Usa think it can interfere in the affairs of other countries... USA is a sovereign country just like other countries in the world... As long as others don't interfere in their affairs.. They should allow other nations sort out themselves.... That being said... African leaders must rise up to the challenge and protect its people from terrorists who seek to destroy the country.... They should put their political differences and interests aside and secure the lives of the people first before any other thing... Na who dey alive dey use roads, bridges and dey get access to student loans.... The government of Africa as a whole must learn to depend on itself for security, survival and sustainability... We are tired of being told how to run our countries by foreign powers.... |

Over years the federal Government seem to have been intentionally docile in addressing the violence of a particular tribe, which are predominantly muslims, against other Nigerian Nationals. They are the Grand culprit of Banditry, Kinapping, tribal killings, oppression and killing of farmers especially in the middle belt and western Nigera, and so on. 99% of this Violence are perpetrated by this particular tribe, and a lot of them asume it's thier nature, hence are no longer pretentious or appologetic about it. I feel there is actually no targeted persecution of Christians, rather it is a well orchestrated subtle war of fulanis against certain section of the country who are perceived weak, either by their meagre population or by thier political strength. The United state of American should be specific by calling out the fulanis for the mayhem they are causing all over Nigeria. Nnamdi Kanu spoke about this, unfortunately he was captured and incarcerated. |

If you follow the US politics very well, you will know this is nothing but a negotiation tatics to blackmail Nigeria into one deal or the other. The painful thing is that some myopic nigerians (the usual suspects) supported or even called for this baseless christian genocide intervention. Unfortunately for them, majority of these so called "aids" goes to NGOs, civil societies and smes many of whom will suffer for no funds from USA to their foundations no more. More like scoring an own goal against themself |

Queengee:It is hard to tell the owner on how to spend his money. You also forget that the aids in question do not go to an individuals, but go through government agencies or something. Where are the proofs that government even does justice with the aids? A government that keeps releasing terrorists in the name of rehabilitation can't be a sincere government. Is it not Nigeria government that everyone knows? So many rhetorical questions |
