PAQ:
UPDATE: 5 years later, my OnePlus 8 is still pushing strong, but not without scars. Apart from the cracked back glass, the front is still intact with minimal scratches. I was never able to find a proper screen guard,

Battery life holds up to the end of the day, i always charge to 80%, this has helped prolong battery health.

Apart from the abysmal camera, it still has a solid screen, good enough SOC, very solid build quality and still alot better looking that most phones today.

Out of all the phones i have used, this is in my top 5. Its now relegated as my secondary phone since i got an Xperia IV around December 2024.
You say the camera no make sense?

At todays standards, no. You will get cheaper phones like Techno, Infinix with better cameras. But if you know how to use GCam, you can squeeze out the best from it, but still cant compete with todays mid range phone cameras.

Good day guys. Pls I'm thinking of getting a oneplus phone to replace my redmi note 10 pro. My budget is between 300 - 400k and the nord 4 or nord 5 are my first options(UK used). However, I'm struggling to find any body that sells them on nairaland. Any solutions to this?

You can get the oneplus 11 for that range. It's a powerful device. I use it currently, though planning to get a oneplus 12.

That's a big loss for Android users. OnePlus was one of the few brands that consistently balanced flagship performance with reasonable pricing. The competition just got smaller.

Not gonna lie, I will miss them. However if I can get the Chinese version of the OP16, I'll buy it.

OnePlus too smooth to just let go like that, especially the battery life. Top, top tier.

Most of the Oneplus devices in computer village are for Indian region. Since they are still going to be released in India, and now confirming Color OS as the main OS people way need the phone go still ship am.

Exactly!
They'll still be in China and India so no shaking.
I'm using a Chinese version OnePlus with ColorOS and the difference isn't very significant.

I've moved from OnePlus 8 to 10T to 15 to Turbo 6v now.
