In my opinion, these five make the biggest difference:

1. Wear clothes that fit properly.
Even expensive clothes look awkward if they don’t fit well.

2. Keep your shoes clean.
People often notice your footwear before the rest of your outfit.

3. Don’t chase every trend.
Wearing what suits your body and personality is usually better than following every viral style.

4. Stick to simple colour combinations.
Neutral colours are easier to match and often look more elegant.

5. Confidence matters.
The best outfit won’t look good if you don’t feel comfortable wearing it.

Be clean and decent, not exposing private parts and cleavages.

All of us should wear hijab to be like masquerades, after all, hijab is the only way we can dress decently.

I wear dirty shoes. I'm just too lazy to clean shoes

Kids of nowadays should allow the trouser or knickers to sit on their waist. I don't like seeing their underwear/pants.

Decency should be the key fashion rules we should follow.

Ladies should stop wearing suits - leave suits for men. There are many other corporate outfits that make you look stunning and classy, but not suits.

Men should stop wearing crop top tshirt.

Who is "we"? ... I know you not referring to men... manly men. It is in the DNA of manly men ... to seek out the panty line of women. A well shaped woman wearing a body hugging white dress is strutting along the street ... 90 % of men will turn around to scan her bum for her panty lines. The other 10%... the vision impaired and the gays.

The one rule ... I'll say what's appropriate for you ... body type and "age".

A skinny woman will look sexy or elegant in an outfit ... head turning. The eba looking woman runs to the boutique and buys the same outfit then be wondering why she be getting attention yes.... but not the same adorable attention.

Age related ... I say this and not just age because a woman is as old as she looks. Two people we know...Genevieve and Regina Daniels. It will be appropriate for both of them to wear what the average 35 year old will wear ...never mind Regina in in her early twenties? .. and Genevieve is like twice her age ... they both look the same age ... thirty something. Neither should be wearing what is trending for the 20 year olds

Lastly ...about the first thing one notices is the shoes. Men? ...first thing the shoes? I disagree 100% ... that's a big fat lie ...which manly man be looking all the way down there? .... for what??

I think it is time for us to start tucking in agbada. It is long over dew.

Draw the line between dressing decently and dressing vulgarly because dressing anyhow makes it looks like as if you're trying too hard to look very sexy, elegant and gorgeous but dressing modestly brings out your real confidence and style, avoid chasing trends just because you want to look stylish go for what works for you best.
