Well, the thing is that US don buy market for Iran hand becus Iran wont back down. That was how Russia own started with Ukrain. For two years, Russia dealt with Ukrain but now, Ukrain on their own have developed some crazy weapons that fly into russia. US should be ready, the war will drag for long. Yes, Iran will lose more but I can bet u, the war will drag for a year plus and by then Iran fit don develop weapons to hit US home lands. That is when America will understand how market be.

True. But it's an assymetric war. Iran will destroy American hold and bases in the gulf. In return, US will level Iran to stone age.

The major cards of Iran are their hold on Strait of Hormuz, plus bunkered missiles, drones and enriched uranium. If the US unable to destroy those weapon bunkers, Iran still remain dangerous threat to the middle east and US.

Without ground trooping, US will just destroy Iranian structures brutally, but will not achieve their main goals.

The straight of Hormuz is equally closed to Iranian imports and exports by the American blockade. America have other bases outside of the middle east it can use . It is better to surrender than to face total destruction of military and civilian infrastructure that will cost billions of dollars and many years to rebuild.

Iran are coming to each war with different tactics. Knowing majority of their missiles sent to Israel are always intercepted in aforementioned countries, so this time around, they want to attack the countries first and be sure they have open the space.
