While I thank God for the safe return of the kidnapped, the recurring pattern of kidnappers fleeing the scene unscathed raises serious questions. Why are there consistently no arrests or casualties on their end once the victims are "abandoned"? Sustaining a pursuit rather than letting them escape should be expected. We aren't gullible. |

coolcharm:The scenarios playing out in todays Nigeria simply suggest that citizens have been mentally disorganized such that it becomes hard for them to decipher the deception... Maintain your sanity in the face of the delusion ![]() |

coolcharm:Your business is to be sad about any good news though, and be rejoicing of any bad one. Whether they paid ransom or not how is it your headache? na your money? If you feel it's a lucrative business you should also go into it and also collect ransom na. Some of us are happy that people kidnapped are back home with their families first, looking for the kidnappers and doing everything possible to prevent a repeat of such is welcome after that. Thank you for your attention to this matter |

| Re: Security Operatives Rescue Abducted Persons In School Attack — Kogi Govt by ppogba: 1:33pm On Jul 17 |
Naustine:If they paid, no one should have sympathy for them. At least, they had money to make provision for their children to go and write the exam in a miracle center inside the forest. They should have set the money aside for kidnappers. Maybe they actually did. |

the problem with our ruling and political class is the tolerance they have for Bandits, Boko haram.ISWAP,Herdsmen that encourages this terrorist to continue until they say enough is enough, not minding the party they belong to, then this terror will end. |

IamAtAnger:Sincerely, I did.. I couldn't celebrate the children's day with my kids and children around me, I couldn't celebrate the father's day because of the maths teacher's death. I saw so cold all through the time of their captivity. I am really following up and digging into the school kidnappings and it is becoming more disappointing to realised that this government doesn't only careless of their failure but, Scripting and staging the recent monsters bedeviling the country with the lives of ordinary Nigerians even when the ignorant actors seemed not to have a choice. |

Well done to Kogi state government. Meanwhile, there seems to be no effort by Kwara governor to save abductees. No response in terms of abandoned villages due to attacks in Ifelodun and Kaiama areas especially. God is on the throne. |
