Eren is never the Villain in my eyes
people calling him a villain are unserious people

I bet almost everyone here will do same act.

One of the most morally grey characters ever

Even if you oppose him, you must concede somethings to him

Just a crazy turn of events
Wait what?!

Ummm, he over did it in my opinion, justifiable but irredeemable

Eren's actions were not justifiable...
His actions propagated the cycle of violence...
His actions were even worse than those before him...

He is a cautionary tale...

Most AOT characters aren't necessarily good or bad...
Rather their actions are...

Eren's actions cannot be justified in my opinion, but I still cannot say that he is clearly a villain even though his actions are villainous

I disagree...
I would likely be a Yeagerist...
Considering most of them knew very little about the outside world and simply saw everyone there as their enemy since they didn't spend time with them...

But I wouldn't go as far as some of the Yeagerists went, or actively kill like Eren...

Eren wasn't even a Yeagerist himself

If you can justify Eren, you can justify King Fritz...

He was a warlord who had to protect his tribe of Eldia, expand their power and conquer their enemies like Marley...
Based on the times he lived and grew up in, he did what he had to do for his Eldian tribe...

If Marley got founder Ymir, they would have used her power the same way...

He over did it? Nah…

Do you know how many people died in his side? At least he only killed few and killed himself.

Baddestguyp:
Why do you say this?
His motivations are not from greed or thirst for power, he even knows he doesnt have much time to live. He only cares about the safety and permanent longevity of his people.
The People he killed are threats to all that. I'll never see him as a Villain. I was even annoyed at the silly redemption arc they even gave Reiner and Alice that gave them the temerity to label Eren as the bad guy.

Yea, an Anti Hero or Anti Villain is more appropriate but never a full on Villain in my eyes

The actions are not justifiable but very understandable.
And yes he is a cautionary tale on how unnecessary violence, segregation and Xenophobia shapes people.

I agree with you

His only problem was he was maybe a bit too uncompromising, but the walled people (paradis) were literally holed in by their enemies

You can say he overdid it, but how much of a choice did he have?

What should have been done differently?

His uncompromising nature was well suited for the task he had to accomplish. Plus he knew he didn't have long to live.
He even told his friends that were trying to stop him that they could kill him and he would understand.

80% of the world population died, kids and animals who had nothing to do with it and some countries who even had no hand in the destruction of Paradis Island

Look, I totally get why people condemn Eren—what he did is genuinely horrific. But calling him a straightforward villain or just a 'cautionary tale' kind of misses the entire point of the show's tragedy.
Eren didn't start the fire; he was born into a world that was already burning him alive. For his entire life, Paradis was treated like a cage, and the second they peeked outside, they realized the entire global population wanted them wiped off the face of the earth.
Think about the options he actually had:
The world refused to even talk to them.
The 50-year plan? It meant sacrificing Historia, breeding her kids like cattle, and just kicking the war down the road for the next generation to deal with.
Eren didn't propagate a cycle of violence; he was backed into a corner by a cycle that had been spinning for thousands of years. And the ultimate tragedy is that Eren wasn't even truly free to choose. He was a literal slave to the concept of freedom itself. The Attack Titan's entire nature is to relentlessly push forward, and Eren was so consumed by this singular drive that he couldn't stop, even when it meant destroying his own humanity. Freedom was the only thing he ever wanted, but it became his own personal prison.
When the choice is 'let everyone you love be systematically slaughtered' or 'destroy the people trying to kill you,' normal morality completely breaks down. He’s not a monster who wanted to conquer the world. He’s a deeply traumatized kid who was given the power of a god, trapped by a destiny he couldn't escape, and forced to choose between his people or the world that hated them. It's messed up, but in a world that cruel, survival is going to win every single time.

Yeah! Jamie selfishly made her barren.

Now, she's he'll bent on destroying him. But, what pains me the most is how she's grossly overpowered to win everything she sets to do.
Yeah true talk.
Beth is a dangerous goal getter, anything she sets her mind on doing, omoh just forget it because nobody is stopping her.
The thing i love about her is that her loyalty and love is eternal.
If she loves you, she will give her life for you.
