On a normal day, this is a natural disaster but as some people from South East don't even consider things they drag others about can boomerang, Abia state will likely be dragged for this. Annoyingly, this kind of thing should allow them to have some reflect but hell No, it's just their one sided method of doing things |

What do you expect when it rains nonstop for weeks? Averting flooding of such magnitude will require a ten to fifteen-year development plan and strict implementation. Cosmetic structures are for remediation for a Governor in his third year in office. |

Anywhere could flooded, whether Ariara or Oshodi. Why this is turned to a banter issue is the relentless hammering of Lagos by the descendants of Ariara for the same thing. I wouldn't have thought we will descend to a point of comparing unfortunate incidents like this, but here we are. Someone even said Abia flood water is cleaner, what a joke. Another one was wondering why UNILAG and LASU Engineering departments haven't found a solution to the flooding in Lagos. That should have been an honest call but you will wonder why universities in his part of the country are not called out for the same thing. They'd castigate other Governors for a thing and somehow find excuse for their darlin Alex for similar or worse event. |

This is just rainfall nau. U can see the rain falling from the zinc Meaning after few hours those water will flow away. Although a channel should be constructed to carry the large amount of water not the regular gutters

Its obvious that contractors are doing a poor jobs with these roads. Let's adopt the burkinafaso style of govt constructing the roads themselves |

helinues:When people rip Lagos apart it's not fun, its because Lagos ought to have fixed the problem and should be a pacesetteer in Africa. Comparing Lagos to Ariara or another state in nigeria is actually sad. Lagos should be miles ahead of any other african city by now in terms of development. The floods is not a one-off like ariaria, its been consistent for at least 20 years |
