LithiumBa3:That is why Nk called Nigeria all kinds of names. When an entity is filled of moderators who are hateful and bias, that is what you get. Does it ever make sense to compare those two things in an honest survey? What they failed to understand is that by doing this, they have shown that the data from all their surveys are unreliable. All the effort in collecting these data wasted because of hate. There are many organizations looking for reliable data sources as partners, but here on NL some moderators are spoiling that opportunity. My guess is that Seun would rather enjoy the euphoria of the moment than the potential gains. |

| Re: Enugu-Onitsha Expressway – Before And After by maik: 4:21pm On Jul 18 |
LordBillionz:But the credit is for APC government, why PDP don't use MTN the way APC used them. |
| Re: Enugu-Onitsha Expressway – Before And After by Caseless: 6:13pm On Jul 18 |
flokii:Buhari started that project. |
| Re: Enugu-Onitsha Expressway – Before And After by Vision101(m): 6:13pm On Jul 18 |
mrvitalis:Give credit to whom credit is due. In Nigeria succeeding governments inherit projects and abandon them. Tinubu could as well have cancelled the tax credit to MTN. A tax credit is not cast on stone. The government can cancel it, measurements of work done to-date will be done and evaluated and MTN will be allowed to claim only that and the work will be abandoned. Why are you refusing to give credit to Tinubu? I thought that you said that Tinubu is Buhari and Buhari is Tinubu? For all that went wrong in Buhari's government you used to say that Tinubu hoisted Buhari on Nigeria. That Nigeria became hell since APC took over. Why the separation now because the story is positive? |

mrvitalis:Which heavy fine? I'm sure that you don't know how construction contracts work. I was in the industry as a senior worker for seventeen years in a foreign construction company. I know the industry and the mode of contracts like the back of my hand. All abandoned contracts tell me which one attracted fine? You miss it if you think that I'm not igbo but I think and behave differently. |
| Re: Enugu-Onitsha Expressway – Before And After by mrvitalis(m): 5:00am On Jul 19 |
Vision101:This is not a construction contract that secondary This is a future tax agreement , it was agreed and sealed years ago You can’t break such contracts without fines especially when MTN has done their part |
| Re: Enugu-Onitsha Expressway – Before And After by mrvitalis(m): 5:02am On Jul 19 |
Kingrshd3:Buhari never did Tinubu did Buhari had budget for subsidies till July tinubu removed it in June Crashed the naira then restarted subsidies in October when the did was done till the Iran war started he used that as an excuse to remove the subsidy |
| Re: Enugu-Onitsha Expressway – Before And After by Vision101(m): 8:50am On Jul 19 |
mrvitalis:My brother I'm a chartered accountant. I didn't want to say it. I know what I'm talking about. A tax credit is like a voucher that is only drawn on. The contract is between the construction company and FG. FG supervises and approves IPCs. MTN only pays and deducts the amount from their tax liability. Right to supervise, maintain quality standards and terminate the contract is reserved by the FG. Where there is no approved IPC MTN cannot pay and they will claim no tax credit. |
| Re: Enugu-Onitsha Expressway – Before And After by mrvitalis(m): 11:07am On Jul 19 |
Vision101:This doesn’t fall under accounting bro MTN is constructing the road in exchange for future tax credits Yes but FG can’t terminate the contract if MTN has meet every requirement they can’t |
