WhiteIverson:
What's done in the dark will always find a way to shine. This government has done so much that when you eventually see, you might go blind.

Only your government supports rehabilitation of terrorists
Only your government pays ransom and calls it a rescue
Only your government appoints terrorist sympathizers and sponsors
Under your watch, all the armed forces have been infiltrated.
Under your watch Nigeria has become more unsafe than the entire Middle East
Most people are funny. So government should stopped looking for kidnapped citizens? They released them because they know government personnel has surrounded them

Irresponsible journalism. What exactly is different from what the military said. Relatives of the terrorists were arrested, the location of the terrorists were found thereby forcing them to release their captives.
Where is the evidence that anything else happened?
Nigerian journalism is now competing with untrained bloggers.
How did the one soldier die?

Nigeria's government use oil money from the Niger delta region to pay ransome and enrich Islamic terrorists including mass kidnappers for ransome. They use the money to buy more sophisticated guns and ammunitions for their impending Jihad.

Arewa 12 states had already adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system.

Dissolve Nigeria into more manageable countries to end the insecurity.

Please tell me then, I pray thee, how they got to know the individuals involved in the kidnapping talk less of their relatives?
How they got to know? Do you know why you need your NIN to get a phone number in Nigeria? Do you also know the criminals communicated by phone?
We do have people who can connect these dots as far fetched as it may seem to you.

Location of the terrorists was found but you didn't see any terrorist?
When you are dealing with people who could be ISIS they should release sensitive information to the media? Where is that done?
Re: Terrorists Released Us Before Soldiers Took Us Home – Rescued Oyo Teacher by onuman: 7:41pm On Jul 19
Arewa has used the excess number of states proliferated in Arewa to funnel more oil money to Arewa.

As if that is not enough, huge ransom money from oil sales are now being paid to Islamists from the same Arewa.
The kidnappers share the same objective with those in Arewa who adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system.
Sharia crimimal justice system includes stoning blasphemous persons to death, stoning women to death for adultery, cutting out the hands of thieves, and other outdated punishment methods.

That means it was not the soldiers that rescued the kidnapped people as lied by tinubu and APC.
A hefty ransom must have been paid.

The question now is how did that soldier died. Was he killed deliberately to prove point? Sacrificial lamb? Who do we believe.
To understand Nigeria, you also need to have mastered brain teaser games. The country is so complicated with multiple intricacies
Please make research about how the soldier died.
Don't allow anybody to deceive u.
Internet.
Just search the soldier's name and how he died.
U will not ask this same question again.
This country is deeper than the blue sea

I believe that ransome was paid for their release
with the confirmation of this teacher, that they were released and not rescued, it's now clear there was ransom, and no serious fight to rescued them, as claimed by the APC propaganda machines.
but for how long will these killings and kidnappings continue in Nigeria, while the politicians are playing rogue politics with the lives of innocent Nigerians?
Makinde was right in demanding for an impartial probe, by the global organizations, because Nigerians are also part of the global citizens.

No one is asking them to release sensitive information to the media. People are asking for transparency not peddling deceptions every day.

The way they were released simply defy what those politicizing the issue expected. It is obvious the main aim of the govt/military is to ensure no casualty....besides it is not every details of the release that the military owe the public but a well thinking unbiased mind can read between the line....the end justifies the means.....the narrative those with contrary views wanted would warrant direct confrotation with the terrorist while the kidnapped are in their custody.
I think you have the most balanced take on this matter. I respect what you just wrote here. I understand the lives of the victims mattered and direct confrontation could have resulted into more casualties. Agreed! All we are asking for is transparency from the government's end

True...but how do we know this man is really part of the people that were kidnapped? Throughout his story, i was waiting for him to mention the teacher that was beheaded on the second day of the kidnap. Another thing that made me doubt his story.. he said they were blindfolded all through, but also said he saw the leader coming in smiling and telling them they were free to go. It just sounds fishy.

Also, this was a phone in interview, not a live video interview. I'm still waiting for a full interview from that principal, and some of the kids...Kids are more trustworthy.

Let's be logical here, even if you support APC or Tinubu, surely you can be logical at intervals.... surely.
Now the survivor has told us what happened the day they were released, keyword being RELEASED. From the story given, the kidnappers were obviously in no rush to let them go, at no point in the story did it feel like they were under any pressure by the Nigerian military.

From the perspective of the person kidnapped it will appear as a if he was just released for no reason.

I said it earlier that ransom was paid and no kidnapper was caught. The tilumbu govt is a padi padi govt enabling and encouraging all manner of vices against Nigerians.

oga teacher what he's saying in essence is that terrorist brought them to a place where they'll be picked up by security agents, meaning that either Ransom was paid or a high level negotiation facilitated their release. Which is contrary to what they government told us that they were rescued in a military operation and 3 terrorist were killed including a soldier
Please reproduce what the government or military says about their rescue operations?

THIS IS WHAT BAYO ONANUGA SAID ;
Their release was announced in a post on X on Friday by Bayo Onanuga, spokesman for the Presidency.
“Finally, the kidnapped pupils and teachers in Orire, Oyo, have been freed by their abductors,” Onanuga wrote.

He disclosed that eight members of the kidnapping gang were arrested during the rescue operation and are now in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Onanuga said the rescue operation did not involve any exchange or concession to the kidnappers, noting that a notorious gang leader whose release had been demanded by the abductors remains in custody and is being prosecuted for his alleged crimes.

He added that security agencies would provide a full account of the operation soon.

“In the course of the rescue operation, eight of the kidnappers were arrested and are now in DSS custody, while some of them were neutralised.

“There was no quid pro quo in the rescue, as one of the terrorists, a kingpin whose release was demanded by the kidnappers, is being prosecuted for his atrocities. The security agencies will give a full account soon,” he added.

Neither was there gun battle in the forest to rescue the abductees going by the account of the army even before the teacher interview.! The army deploy tactical strategies,of course in the course of their rescue its likely some are neutralise (most people-the pessimistic-believes its a Bush thing, with gun.... that's power of intelligence only that it took a long time!

The soldier died the same day those people were kidnapped(may 15), he was the one who led the rescue operation that very day,he died alongside a police officer and 2 local hunters.
After that day I think government now changed their approach coz it's obvious they can't conquer those people.

na apc kidnapped those people just because makinde declared intention to run for president.

It was when makinde wrote the UN that apc government arrested 3 people they are showing. They do not want UN to investigate.

apc can pay a militia to wipe off a whole tribe...the wickedness in apc is graver than hitler own.

why na
