I use to tell people that messi is a programmed footballer who plays like a robot on remote control on the pitch. If you watch the game, you will see that he needs teammates to lay the pass(ball) for him to strike it. But spain blocked all the players from giving messi any pass. Messi was lonely and abandoned on the pitch throughout the 90mins.

Messi is programmed. He needs people to play the ball with him before he can do anything. That is why the guy refuse to leave Barcelona decades upon decades, because he knows if he leaves the spanish league, he is going to be doomed!

A very lazy player.

It's painful to say but sometimes, football will just humble you. How would you explain how Chelsea caged the Almighty PSG and scored 4 goals?

Spain was a better team overall, and also ensured they defended well in the middle, marking Messi massively and choking the entire Arg team. Scaloni should have brought in at least 2 very agile players who could at least reduce the "choke" but as he doesn't have a good bench, the table turned against him. That's why I always say in life, have options. The dependence on Messi to score goals for them and create exceptional chances was too much. He's human and if he's choked, what else could he have done, especially when playing against a top-form team like Spain? I also hate it when Ronaldo fans say he is FIFA's boy. Today is your day to mock Messi, O fans of Ronaldo. It's painful. It's quite painful, especially with that red card. If they had pushed further a bit and Spain was unlucky, people would have kept mute. But it happened this way and that's just it. I just want him to retire now. Well done Spain for displaying your superiority, and well done to Arg for fighting hard. Sometimes fighting hard won't win you a match; you need a good bench.

For us Messi and Arsenal fans, it was a win win situation. Whoever won would please us.

We are happy that Arsenal has World Cup winners in the team. Either way, we are champions.
