It's a good topic for the front page because it's socioeconomically relevant and people can learn from it.
Re: Let See Your Budget With ₦300,000 Per Month As A Parent/single by KingAzubuike(f): 7:47pm On Jul 20
As for me.
Every friday night /saturday morning-- hotel 15k, oloso (till day break) 20k
That's 140k monthly.

Food 30k weekly that's 120k monthly.

The remaining balance for wife, children and miscellaneous.
Re: Let See Your Budget With ₦300,000 Per Month As A Parent/single by Bluna:
300k monthly is approximately 3.6 million annually. That's not really a big amount, if you're not careful you may expend everything on feeding and family/personal expenses with no meaningful savings. A businessman like me will rather join a cooperative society, saving 40% of the monthly income with them. After a year, I will get loan of N3 million from them to invest in my business.

Re: Let See Your Budget With ₦300,000 Per Month As A Parent/single by EronzRichie(m): 8:02pm On Jul 20
There was a time ₦300k a month felt like a dream income. Today, even with ₦300k, you need serious discipline just to get by.

Even as a broke bachelor that’s living alone I can’t manage 300k in a month on spendings alone not to talk of saving from it again
I think I need a financial advisor

Only if this can become new minimum wage

Because, this current 70k is the root cause of terrorism and all fraudulent activities in this country

It's like you are an illiterate when it comes to social media. Have you ever read that attention and engagement are the main currencies of social media?

Platforms rely on user engagement for success. They must survive. That is why you see people post controversial and "f00l1sh" topics for engagement.

If you don't like any topic, move. Alternatively, you can go and start your own Nairaland and post whatever catches your fancy.

Okay?

Before una start dey soend money wey the average Nigerian doesn't earn. Remember minimum eage is #70k.

Many of una wey likely don't even earn that have already upgraded the lifestyle/expenses to meet up the 300k and almost no provision for Savings/Emergency funds.

You have time to be explaining. People who talk like that are just seeking attention.
