Yes, your ancestors had their way, but is their way really the better way forward? Child/human sacrifices, slavery, murder/lynching, ritualistic traditions...all barbaric schemes that survived into the 20th century... traditions that can be traced back to traditional religious pasts. People abandoned, not adapted, their religious beliefs after the white man came in with his own religion as an alternative. So, if you say Nigerians should abandon the foreign religions to go back to the ancestral religions, does it include bringing back the old barbaric practices of the past? 😒

➜We can NEVER go back to evil practices such as twin babies sacrifices and other barbaric rituals that defined some of our cultures in prehistoric times. But even in that neanderthal chaos, there were still societal values that borders on mortality and some of the non sacrificial rituals were tied these values like the punishment for stealing and adultery amongst others.
➜ I can confidently tell you that without colonialism we would have gradually purged ourselves of the extreme parts of our cultures and retain the parts that promotes humanity. The whites also had sacrifices but purged themselves without external interference (read about the Anglo Saxon rituals) It was part of societal cultural transformation.
➜ Even the bible underwent strategic transformation to get to the versions we currently use. Remember the Nicene conference where it all started and down to King James version (KJV) of biblical timelines. Have you heard about the seven books of Moses and what some incantations they were used for? Do you know about the book of Enoch and the fallen angels. The Rosicrucians can tell you a bit. Read about the eye 👁️ in the triangle. These are European barbaric cultures transformed to acceptable norms that set societal standards.
➜ The point is , we wouldn't have been worse off if allowed to evolve naturally and uninterrupted. The Chinese did as well as a few advanced societies of today. The older human fossil was found in Africa so that says a lot about our development in the stone ages.
➜ The Arabs are the number one enemy of the black regardless of religious affiliations. The number two enemy is the Europeans who told us about God but stole our resources and enslaved our people using quotes from the bible to back up their atrocities.
➜ I am a fully pledged orthodox Christian by the way but always practice my faith with common sense while my relationship with God is strictly personal

3. Let's not make ignorant claims, shall we? The books of the Bible that exist today are almost 2000 years old; the same books we read today are the same books that were read about 2000 years ago. The most recent manuscripts used in the translations of the books come from works written in the 1st century AD. 😒😒

The religion built around the book may have undergone numerous iterations to get to where it is today, but the book itself remains the same as it was about 2000 years ago.😒😒

That said, African traditional religions do not have books after which their ideas are supposedly modeled or conventions that guard the doctrines and practices, making it akin to comparing apples and peanuts when you attempt to pitch them against religions like Christianity or Buddhism. Maybe we should proceed without these fruitless comparisons, shall we? 😒😒

➜Guy you didn't even watch the video, yet you called it propaganda. The video gives a break down of France history of colonisation and neo- colonialism that makes it culpable in the sahel region.
Books have been written about it by white people, you can read books like 'confessions of an economic hitman', super imperialism, grunch of giants etc
But because you lack understanding of history and you have a forever colonised mindset that can't believe the fact that France has been responsible for the poverty and insecurity in the region for centuries you called the video propaganda.
