nateevs:He’d be the main man at Arsenal though, also I don’t think any team has as much harmony as Arsenal currently so i don’t see it tbh |

Bluelines69:Vini that Alonso could not control.... throwing tantrums openly because of defensive duties. Arteta don land problem. There is no space for prima donnas in the PL. Your ego go puncture asap. When it comes to strict team discipline, Alonso is cut from the same cloth as JM. Therefore, it is no surprise JM is riding of him. Discipline. |

nateevs:Vini has been refusing to sign a new contract way before Mourinho who by the way wants him to stay. He wants Mbappe salary and he's not going to get it. I don't see Arsenal paying nearly 600k weekly for him. |

Sportsweb:Nearly 50% of his goals that season were from penalties. |

Godx:33 Premier league appearances 13 non penalty goals 9 penalty goals 11 assists Still very good numbers (24 non penalty goals/assists in 33 games) if u minus the penalties |

If Vini is available we should be doing everything we can to get him and stop Arsenal. They are paying an average player in Saka 300k, they can definitely pay Vini between 450k to 500k. |

Reason why i hate 3 ATB and Conte all together. They did not only beat juventus like person way theif for Alaba but also played the hell out of them.

StarchAndBanga:I agree it was a good season but an outlier. He's not going to replicate those numbers again unless Chelsea gets insane amount of penalties. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Godx: 9:34pm On Jul 25 |
popizaino:That same Bayern flogged 4-3-3 Barcelona 7:0 over two legs. |

Godx:Na nine penalties be the “insane amount” you refer to? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by popizaino(m): 9:45pm On Jul 25 |
Godx:At the risk of sounding insensitive. May your team be coached by a cancer patient and a Jordi Roura level coach when next you meet PSG with Luis Enrique. |

A40:even if it's not Mourinho, any sensible manage would want some sanity in the dressing room, the question is, is that possible with all those egos clashing at some point person gots commot for that team to move forward |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Kilishihunter: 10:23pm On Jul 25 |
nateevs:I think mbappe's arrival contributed to this shift cause Alonso clearly prioritized him as the main man sidelining vini atimes plus I believe the English media will humble him if he tries his tantrums. Racism is also not as pronounced in England like Spain with crazy people. There are Brazilians and Spaniards at arsenal so he should feel comfortable alongside being the team's main forward. It would also be better for his legacy if he's charged with leading the club to their first UCL title alongside earning better. I don't know if he'll leave sha cause vardrid are building a super team at the moment so they wouldn't want to be weaker plus they'll charge more than what they are going to pay for diomande |

A40:It's towards the end of his career that made him get most slack but busquets was not a passenger during his xaviesta era. Possession football looks hard but once there's a faulty cog the wheel won't roll. You can think Rodri is better which is helped by his honours (IMO he's the better ball winner, duelist and scorer) while busi is better in possession and positioning) but trying to write off the other as a carry along is not true. If olmo, Ruiz it Pedri didn't also perform their midfield roles in the world cup effectively Rodri's work will not be utilized. |

popizaino:Those are just cheap excuses. That Barcelona team finished la Liga with 100points yet lost 7:0 over two legs. Bayern flogged and dominated different teams using 4, 3 or even 10 atb. Juventus playing 3atb isn't why they lost, Bayern were simply monsters that season. |

That Diomandes touch was so loose when I saw him in the World Cup I didn't see him as a great LW talkless of RW he would have to play if Vini stays. Of course based on limited information as World Cup is just a few games but I didn't like his first touch at all |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by drisham(m): 1:43am On Jul 26 |
Capaldi:Why would he leave a club playing CL footy like Madrid , with a chance to win the league To come to Chelsea When there's another club playing CL footy in arsenal interested in him? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 2:23am On Jul 26 |
A40:If you need a dossier on that spineless DM, I will give you for free. Popizaino has zero knowledge of who he is defending. Comparing a player that never made FIFA best XI to a Ballon d’or winner is senseless. These were all in his prime in case Popizaino wants to play games of age He was always useless performing his primary role of shielding the defence, but those in his fronts were always there to carry him.

Enzo5:Akpororo Jr can play it's just his diva tendencies he needs to sort out. I don't like people that try to be victim and Victor. You have to choose one and stay there Madrid real problem is in midfield |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 2:39am On Jul 26 |
Kilishihunter:Walahi the guy was a passenger. From start to finish. What worked in Barca and Spain's favor was the extraordinary talent disparity at their respective positions. Every time the playing field was leveled. Busquets deficiencies stuck out like a sore thumb. Whenever he had no Xabi, Xavi to hold his hand he was mostly bang average. Of course it's a team sport. I'm not one of those that believe in "carrying" or "dragging" narrative. In a 11 man sport that is ridiculous for the most part. But you can be outstanding in your role |
