what changed?
Maybe the time of the year. Clear sky. It was brief though, as cloud still gathered again.

I have 550w x 4 already but my installer said It's advisable to get 550w instead of 590. I'm using SMS 4.2kva hybrid inverter

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by durodee(m): 8:19am On Jul 29
Apart of the cost difference ( that is if there are differences really) that 40w difference will not make a difference at the end of the day. The 590w panels will just yield like 550panels if connected in series

590w will work with it but may not work to it's full capacity. the 550w may drag it down to its level.

You can get more 590w and above panels and connect to a standalone mppt cc if you can't wait for the 550w which might still not be available anytime soon. This is another option even though it is expensive.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Gshems: 1:42pm On Jul 29
It is just 40w he will be loosing. Why waste money on a stand alone mppt

He won't lose up to that sef. Max will b 25w. The exact figure is dependant on isc, vmp of both panels, n how the panels are connected (series and/or parallel)

You probably missed where I said "except it's hand to hand;"
You do need understand market price for even a USEd 300w is around 50,000 naira. Negotiate well, you could be lucky to get the 350w at that price but not often. Let alone 30,000 naira. How much dem wan come sell 200w.

350w solar panels non China used is about 70,000 naira the last I bought it.

Except of course it's directly from an end user, should be weary of getting it at 50,000 naira in the market, let alone 30,000 naira

Show us the Pinksure of the items now, at least we can use it to estimate the conditions and how Dollar-Dollar it is.

And you can add you 'subject to negotiations' price too.... that will be a good way to scare-off Kobo-Kobo people like us.
shocked
