Naija politics, the audition for the presidency is supposed to involve policy, not landscaping updates. Peter Obi sat across from Seun Okinbaloye on Channels Television Sunday Politics. Seun asked him a simple question. A question that any governor with a real education record should be able to answer with specifics, names, dates, and photographs. Did you actually build schools while you were governor of Anambra State? Obi's answer, delivered with full confidence and no apparent awareness of how it sounded, was this: "If you go to today, Odumegwu Ojukwu University, there's a place called Igbariam campus. Seun, I cut the grass. What I mean, it was a bush. I leveled the bush." He cut the grass. The man asking Nigerians to give him the presidency of the most populous black nation on earth, the man who wants to govern 220 million people, the man who says Tinubu should retire because he lacks capacity, reached into eight years of governorship and pulled out grasscutting as the centrepiece of his education legacy. LeoAj: Emekaonline: yarimo: pharmagba: omenka:The "Olodo Uprising!" is real indeed! "...Seun, I cut the grass. What I mean, it was a bush. I leveled the bush... and built the institution from scratch!" One doesn't need more than elementary/kindergarten comprehension skills to grasp the meaning of the above statement. But like a notable scoundrel (Daniel Bwala) once said, "The human brain is unique and miraculous. It works and functions optimally 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, until you join APC, then it stops working." Just see how fully grown adults are dancing all over social media that "Obi said he cleared grass". Indeed the "Olodo Uprising!" is real! |
