Na this kind mentality dey keep many people for one place. Many banks and financial institutions pay their entry level core staff ET 500k+ plus other benefits and it’s 90% merit.

I reserved that 10% for a reason. Sometimes, you need connections to get your CV considered at certain banks, especially for entry-level roles at Zenith and Keystone, which are actually among the lowest-paying banks at the entry level.

That said, their recruitment processes are 100% transparent. I interviewed with both banks and successfully passed all the stages, but I didn’t end up working at either of them.

At Zenith, my final interview was with Dame Adaora Umeoji, the current GMD/CEO, when she was the Head of Risk Management. At Keystone, I interviewed with Abubakar Danlami Sule, the former MD/CEO.

We thank God for life and for His mercies.

Sometimes I feel bad leaving the private sector o but we thank God for life while we hope for better days. In my last place of employment before leaving, all the guys in my unit transition to Sterling as BO. The pay is awesome.

Nothing yet but TCN is currently undergoing there promotion exams at the moment, probably after the phase something positive will happen..most of there staffs are retiring

That should be 1m+ in monthly net pay now

Any bank paying less than that for that grade is not ready for the competitive markets of these days

I used to work at a foreign bank with the highest entry level pay, as 2023/2024. At the unit where I worked then, I had the privilege of knowing what the seniors and top executives of the bank where earning per month as well as other incentives they get. Because I had to make a daily report to the Asset Mgt team who were helping them grow their wealth. I knew what the EDs, the CEO and the Chairman earned every month. Not every staff member of the bank had such access (you won't even be able to access such account, and even if you make any such attempts you'll hear from management and internal control unit ).

A friend of mine received she applied for Assistant lecturer with her Msc though she got appointment at public complaint commission few years ago with her Bsc can she risk It and go for the aptitude test she's currently in Lagos state

How much does she correctly earn?
Is she interested in doing a PhD?
Is she interested in working from morning late into the night almost every day?

In lecturing at the university level, she will have to do PhD and she will work into the night most days. If she however survived and sacrifice for years, she will one day look back and be happy.

But when start that lecturing job , she's going to work so much than she is currently working. It is going to be tough. And yes, she will have to leave Abuja for Lagos.

I ask about her present salary so as to compare what she will be earning to what she presently earn.
