Ukraine changed the head of their military 2 weeks ago. This new guy first struck an Iranian tanker, now he has sunk a Russian container vessel.

Russia has forgotten that during WW2, Nazi soldiers came within 100 miles of St. Petersburg which was the capital of the USSR. They were pushed back by Allied forces and reinforcements sent in from Kyiv which was under the USSR as at then.

The funny thing is that 2 years ago, Putin begged North Korea to send him troops. Those ones came in and Ukrainian soldiers slaughtered them massively. They didn't last 3 months in the battlefield.

I wish Putin luck as he's fighting those who have lost all and are ready to lose more.

Secondly 2years ago, what you termed "begging" was actually a transactional mutual defense pact reached by both countries. Countries including the US, continue to sign defense pact everyday. This is not weakness but strategy.

And lastly I must point out to you that it is very difficult to ascertain exact number of casualties, but the mood indicates that Ukraine is loosing.

We must learn to remain factual and say what we truly are certain of, while also suing for peace as war is never the best option.

There are two types of deaths in conflict; direct and indirect deaths. The latter are mostly from destruction of infrastructures leading to spread of diseases due to lack of access to essential life saving amenities, just putting it out there

Pointing to Russia's illegal invasion doesn't answer whether another action complies with international law.



Russia's alleged violations of international law don't make every other violation lawful.



International law isn't applied on an "if they did it, we can too" basis. If Russia's invasion of Ukraine was illegal and I believe it was not that principle should be applied consistently to everyone friend or foe.



I will lecture as many people as I like that have the mind to listen about international law or whatever I want.
