Hello everyone, thank you guys for all that you do here. I used to follow this thread when i was in school in 2021-2023 but life happened and couldn’t keep up. I’m 26yrs old, have a Bsc in Sociology, i started nysc 2024 and finished in 2025 and since then i’ve been working remotely for an healthcare advisory company in Canada and for another company un USA (small companies by the way). I’m planning to write celpip exam this year and then enter the pool. I’m currently learning Cloud Computing but that’s by the way. I’m kind of confused on which one to go for? Am I entering the pool via express entry or PNP? Would appreciate any guidance here |

Thank you everyone for all the amazing updates. Please has anyone used Birdview Travels and tours for Canada PR processing? I reached out to them and I plan to use them but I just want to know if there are any negative reviews out there. Thank you. |

Hello gurus in the house! Thankful to everyone who has contributed to this thread and would be contributing. The information shared has been extremely helpful, encouraging and insightful, especially for we PR hopefuls. But, I have an ask and would appreciate answers and feedbacks. I have an NCE and a Bachelor's degree in education qualifications, and would want to evaluate them both under ICAS for the EE pool as a secondary teacher, as I have over 3 years of paid experience too. Can I claim two or more certificates using both in order to boost my CRS points? Or would the evaluating body recognise it as one? Note: Both programs were studied for 3 years each. |

Can anyone who used their NYSC service year as part of their qualifying work experience for Express Entry share their experience? I have slightly over 3 years of work experience, including my NYSC year. I have a few questions: 1. Did you claim your NYSC experience from the first day of orientation camp to the end of the service year, or did you only count the period from when you resumed at your PPA (about 10 months)? 2. Was claiming the full one year ever an issue with IRCC? I’m considering changing my start date to when I resumed at my PPA, but I’m a bit hesitant to change my work history after receiving my ITA. 3. On your employment reference letter, did you include only the Federal Government (NYSC) allowance, or did you also state the allowance paid by your PPA? I served in Oyo State, where the state government paid us an additional allowance alongside the NYSC allowance. I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has successfully used their NYSC experience in their Express Entry application. |

mrssomebody:1. Your service year is a full 12 months, you must claim 1yr (orientation course inclusive). Check your certificate for the actual date. 2. Not an issue, would be an issue if it's not up to a year. If you plan on staying at your ppa after service to make up one year, you can count from when you resume. With this; you can use the salary paid to you at your ppa and not mention anything nysc in your IRCC application. 3. Use the federal government if you're not using option provided in two above. Cheers! |

Is the one- way courier method as safe as picking it up from their office? Why does VFS force one to pay for separate courier for dependents even seperate mobile tracking updates even though it's to the same phone. I submitted just last week, abeg people how long am I going to be waiting for? I'm targeting the beginning of the school year. |

osars:I have the PDF of the Atelier, I also have physical copy. The physical copy I kind of want to keep because while I studied French I centred TCF not necessarily a deep engagement with the exam, I did my exams around 9 months ago I have forgotten half of what I've learnt. Try oceanofpdf for books also download Le Petit Prince. In my spare time I'd probably compile a list of the PDF including atelier that I have and leave a link to the Google Drive on the TCF/TEF French page on NL. |

TeeOA12:😮. You are going to entrust your future to the intricacies and whimsy of another person especially one whose interests are better served if you keep paying. Immigration consultants even in Canada do not have the most pristine reputation and are highly hated, compare that to a low trust society where criminal behaviour rarely draw consequences. Don't bother yourself, even if you do not qualify an agent would not tell you to keep you paying, then it just gets worse from there. It is your life, make time start with ChatGPT, watch YouTube videos. Try computing your anticipated CRS score there's a calculator on IRCC's website. It is not rocket science just a basic knowledge of the English Language. |

Mideriks04:When your questions are improperly framed or the answers to them are quite dense, it makes it quite hard. You can apply to provinces for nomination that's an entire category. Read up. I don't think the Canadian Experience class is for you either. I don't think you work in a trade too. Your other option is the Federal Skilled Worker programme, they've abandoned general draws, so it must be under one of this categories. French-Language Proficiency: Candidates with strong French skills, typically scoring CLB 7 or higher. Healthcare and Social Services: Professionals including doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and social workers. STEM Occupations: Experts in science, technology, engineering, and math, such as data scientists and software engineers.Trade Occupations: Agriculture and Agri-Food: Workers including agricultural supervisors and butchers. Transport Occupations: Roles like truck drivers and transit operators. Education Occupations: Professionals working within the education and teaching sectors Goodluck! |
