Most people were shocked to see PO win Lagos except some of us who called it before the election.

I have again written here:

Do Not Underestimate The Obi – Kwankwaso (OK) Movement
You see ehn, I'm not a tinubu fan but I'll tell you the truth instead of being emotional about it. Obi cannot be president in 2027. He would win in several places including Lagos again which I believe but you see that presidency, na kwakwanso fit help him get there but at the moment, kwakwanso's people are not having it. Atiku also has a strong pull in the North. If obi can successfully get a lot of votes from the KKK states then we can gladly say he is president but I don't see that happening. Another problem obi would encounter is kwakwanso. Kwakwanso is a known enforcer of Strict Islamic rule(Sharia) so people from the North Central would be highly skeptical and to make matters worse, his recent comments about negotiating with armed groups have further brought more tension. Tinubu is still the winner in all of these.

Did he not win? you folks can't distinguish betwen winning a battle and winning the war.

Lagos is just a battle, a cosmopololitan city where election has always been close. Obi won by a meagre 10,000 votes and the obedient has never stoped celebrating it .Clearly its the pick of his political achievement up till now.

The real war is Nigeria, Obasanjo was president for 8 years, he never won Lagos once. Even though he was based in Lagos as Military president just a few years back.

I doubt it if Tinubu will loose Lagos a second time, but the real price is Nigeria and I am very sure he will win, unless death or ill health stops him, even at that APC will win.

So you guys should keep celebrating your Lagos victory, meaningless though it is, it is the best you will ever get.
Old boy you are too loaded and intelligent jare.....you too much

So? It was Buhari and his crew in charge then and they were lacklustre towards Tinubu's ambition with several even being hostile. What, for example, do you think currency re-design was about?

Now PBAT is top Dog and wields ultimate executive power which gives him a lot of influence and advantages. If you wish to be naive in outlook, no wahala. 4 months and we are in 2027. Not long to go.
How did anything buhari did help Peter Obi? Buhari didnt interfere with the elections.

tinubu cant do anything different except try to rigg and it will be serious matter this time for inec and riggers.

@OP.

Do not fool yourself. Tinubu is the greatest incumbent President since 1999 by far.

Nothing for Obi or Atiku next year. For example, I am pretty sure he will use his foot soldiers to ensure neither get 25% vote in all six SW States let alone win any.

What your messiah Obi is doing is typical of those who do not belong at the top yet are trying to wing it.

Tinubu is where he is is because he is very talented as a politicians and perhaps best of his generation. He built people, powerful political structures and transformational legacy project like Eko Atlantic whereas Obi built nothing, is below mediocre and a dullard.

All he is famous for is fleeing from political Parties when the going get tough rather than resolving issues that would then make him meritorious head of the Party he has joined as Tinubu is the undisputed and well-respected Supremo of the APC.

If hype wins elections then sure Obi will be President. Yet the reality is that PBAT will win easily next year.

Best prepared, best supported and most powerful by far. A situation he arrived at because he plans meticulously, invests in other leaders thus securing their everlasting loyalty and bides his time as a talented politicians with an end game in sight he prepared for.

The "food is ready" approach to politics of Obi and his Obidients mob cannot succeed.
Have a rethink about this and you will see why I think you are not smart😂😂😂

Obi has a big advantage with Kwankwaso. It has put PO in the game for the NW battleground.

Kwankwaso got almost 1 million votes in Kano in 2023 and he wasn't even considered a serious contender to win the 2023 Presidency. Usually people vote strategically for the candidate that will likely win, but they still voted him massively. What do you think will happen now that he is on the most popular ticket nationally (a ticket that that won Lagos, Abuja, Rivers (unofficially)?

Atiku is strong in the North which is undisputed, I think he will gain more grounds especially since Buhari is no longer there.

I just don't see how any of this benefits Tinubu.

Tinubu is at a big disadvantage in the NW. That's where most of his votes came from in 2023 and that's where he was supposed to choose his VP from, but he chose to remain with the NE in order not to lose big to Atiku's region.

2027 is going to be very interesting. NW is the battleground between the 3 contestants

Don't put your hopes too high. Let's see how 2027 goes. I don't believe tinubu is at a disadvantage. Nigeria is a very funny place with some funny politics. Whatever you see online may not be the actual truth on the ground

Throughout the history of Tinubu's politics in Lagos, has he won more than 60% of the votes either for himself or any candidate at the Presidential election? Why do you think this is about tribe?

Perhaps if we focus our discussions intelligently on doing research and sticking to the facts, we'll be able to predict elections better like it's done abroad. Don't you think?

It's different now.
Obi can't score 30% in 2027.. it was after the 2023 elections that obidients insulted the Yoruba.

I will prefer a real Peter Obi supporter in 2023 tell me that, not self appointed spokespersons like you who are hoping their personal misguided sentiments become the will of everyone else.

Apart from the few who have benefitted financially through campaign funds and settlements, so you think the average voter who never supported Tinubu before he became President, will now support him after the extreme hardship and insecurity he has plunged millions of people into? Just because of the tribal sentiments of some folks? How much food are those tribal sentiments putting on their table?

Reason some of the things you post out of tribal sentiments, before you post them.

2051 Views already. Seems Nigerians still care about this "fake bishops" issue.
Do you think Atiku is right to demand an apology, or is this just politics?

What sort of talk is this? You did not note I described Tinubu as incumbent meaning all powers of the Nigerian nation is in his hand? Was he incumbent in 2023?

Additionally, he has support of 31 Governors or so which was not the case in 2023. Ogbeni, you better respect facts and reality on ground.
Seems Nigerians have sold their rights to governors.
Ideally, having support of a governor shouldn’t determine the votes of those living in that state.
A governor has one vote

Let's stick to the topic. Fake bishops were invited to VP unveiling.
The Church denied them. Should there be an apology or not?

Obi actually won Lagos by just 8000 votes out of millions of votes. It will not happen again.
Obi won for several reasons: Currency wahala created by the Buhari Govt, Yoruba Christians and their pastors who were against the Muslim / Muslim tickect, and the number of Igbo in Lagos. A lot of Yoruba Christians and churches that voted for Obi will not do that again. They have seen that Obi is nothing but a pathological liar, a religious and tribal bigot.
NO need arguing with these people; all I know is that Obi will not win Lagos again.

They will come here and cry rigging when their packaged candidate loses again.

Using your language, what happened in the Lagos "battle" will help us understand what his prospects for the "war" look like in 2027.

He had the governor of Lagos in 2023 but lost Lagos.

Regardless of how his supporters try to spin it, we believe it was Buhari's endorsement plus people like El-Rufai that helped him win most votes from the North in 2023.

Now He has lost both Buhari and El-Rufai, and he failed to secure the support of Kwankwaso.

How will having governors in most states, especially in the North, help him win?
You lack critical analysis and understanding

Peter Obi won Lagos againstba Muslim Muslim ticket with less than 10K vote, this is despite all the christian church HQ being located in the same Lagos.

If that is not shameful I do not know what to tell you clowns claiming he won Lagos. Peter Obi and shameless foolish religious bigotry was only able to win a predominantly Christian Lagos by mere 9K votes against a Muslim Muslim ticket.

Looks like you are missing the key variable here. He is now the PRESIDENT, commander in chief of the armed forces, starting from INEC force, to police force, to Army force, to state governors force (you think any of those governors want to lose the largesse they are collecting now in the name of allocation without anybody asking questions? dey play)

Bottom line, the guy man now has absolute power. And if any of you expect Tinubu to play fair, I say again, just dey play.

Na this election go let you guys know the difference between a real politician and those soldiers and teachers that were handpicked to be presidents. This one played his politics and politicking to get to where he is and you think a trader can displace him? His closest rival who also understands some politics but is no match for Tinubu is Alhaji Abubakar.

Thank you for your attention to this matter
