Good day everyone.
Please currently having a problem with my note 20.
Recognizes the sim in it but does still shows no sim.

If u put an mtn sim in it, it shows no sim but on network settings it recognizes mtn APN.
Please any help will fo a long way.

This issue happens because your Note 20 hardware physically detects the SIM tray is occupied and reads the carrier profile, but the Android system or network modem fails to complete the registration. To fix it, you should first toggle Airplane Mode, ensure the SIM card is explicitly turned on under Settings > Connections > SIM manager, and run a Reset mobile network settings to clear out corrupted configuration files. If the software resets fail, the problem is likely physical; you should clean the SIM's gold contacts with an eraser or apply a thin piece of tape to the back of the card to press it tighter against the phone's internal pins. Finally, cross-test by placing your MTN SIM into another phone to check if the card is damaged or barred, and insert a completely different network SIM into your Note 20 to rule out a broken internal phone reader.
