Some opposition figures have renewed calls for a single opposition candidate in the 2027 presidential elections and a return to the Ibadan Declaration.

However, some supporters of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar have accused supporters of Mr Peter Obi of betraying the coalition by pulling out of the ADC and refusing to sign the Ibadan Declaration.

Meanwhile, some supporters of Mr Peter Obi have said that Peter Obi must be the sole opposition candidate.

@ADCNig @atiku @BolajiADC Any attempt to revive the Obi distraction at this stage only reinforces the perception that the ADC is not serious about winning. The goodwill and momentum that once surrounded the idea of a united opposition have already evaporated. Reopening that conversation now would waste valuable time and hand the ruling party an easy political narrative.

The reality is that Obi made his strategic choices, and every political movement has since reorganized around that reality. Constantly looking back instead of moving forward projects uncertainty, not leadership.

The ADC must stop chasing personalities and focus on building a winning electoral coalition. Atiku's pathway remains clear consolidate the North West, North East, and stay competitive North Central, expand support among independents and disillusioned voters, and make the election a referendum on the government's economic record.

Elections are won by disciplined strategy, not endless coalition drama. The ADC's strongest asset today is Atiku's established national political structure and reach not another round of negotiations that may create more headlines than votes.

The campaign should stay focused on the issues Nigerians care about most, the cost of living crisis, inflation, unemployment, insecurity, and rebuilding the economy. That's the message that can unite voters not reopening debates that have already run their course.

Yesterday, i saw Prof. Pat Utomi’s tweet where he was talking about the Ibadan Declaration, and i was laughing because it is really funny hearing him say this. The same man who edged a candidate out of the coalition. For the record, is his preferred Presidential candidate a signatory to the Ibadan Declaration? Was he fully a part of it?

A united opposition is what i have been preaching for years now. Even when these Obidients insult me, facts are facts. Now it is becoming clearer. Where was Prof. Pat Utomi when we were actively agitating for a united front against the Tinubu-led APC administration?

Truth is, in the last election, there was an element of surprise from Peter Obi as the APC never paid much attention to him. Add the religious mix to this. Atiku Abubakar was their main target. This time around, it is not going to happen again. He's on the block now. I guess Prof. Pat Utomi and the team have now seen the handwriting on the wall, his recent call for a united opposition is a clear indicator of this.. You people are now seeing it. Isn't it too late?

Now let us judge by the released qualifications of these major candidates by INEC.

1. tinubu: that one is worse that the Satan himself. At least we know the origin of Satan. Satan was once an angel, lived in heaven, rebelled against God and got his ass kicked out.

Who's tinubu? No records of his primary school, secondary school, university, birthday is disputable.

We have tried him as president. Qualifying his performance as president as FAILURE is you being modest. That man is worst than failure. Tufiaaaa!

2. Atiku: if you want to know much about this former VP book a date with is former boss OGB. Who knows you more than your boss?

This man spent just 10 years in custom, self retired, contested elections as early as 1992, won election as a governor of adamawa, sponsored OGB presidential election. With which money? Prior to being a custom officer Atiku has no record of any enterprise or employment. He looted custom dry allegedly.

If the above information do not tell you how corrupt this man is then your are gone.

Now to the INEC records, atiku finished is primary school at age 8, write waec at age 14 but some how got a higher education in 2020, for a man that loves education that right in his mother's womb he started going to school. If you do not see the lies in the above information then you are a lost soul.

You might argue if Atiku is a southerner because education came early in the region but north? Please.

It goes to show that atiku is not the age he's telling the electorate. Isn't that a grievous crime in Nigeria according to the constitution?

3. Peter Obi: before he ventured into politics, he was a seasoned entrepreneur, a director. A business owner in the UK. A millionaire in US dollars. Now let that sink in for a minute. Even before Tony Elumelu, Otedola, dangote tried the UK and other foreign markets, PO has already established one.

Back to the released INEC records, PO was 12 years when he finished his primary education, wrote waec at age 17, got his B.Sc. at age 23. You see that PO record follows the normal educational structure in Nigeria.

PO is the man all Nigerians should rally around.

We must get it right in 2027 or we perish.
