Caicedobets:Can you bring evidence of this? It's clearly on record here that Maresca had little say on Chelsea transfer dealings and that was what lead to fights with management and his subsequent wanting out. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Caicedobets(m): 8:14pm On Aug 03 |
Godx:He was the head coach and in his first season He had a say in transfers. As for his fights it was regards the issue if the Chelsea SDs not signing a center back to replace Colwill and that was in his second season |

Godx:All of these were from second season not his first when we was given the players he wished for At least Dewsbury hall was 100% his call |

Hope Maresca is no more a developing manager at city and nobody is dictating his lineup for him too ?No silly excuse will be tolerated if he fails to win at city. Just saying oh. |

Debroslink:Thanks for providing me with a very good agenda for that scenario. From all indications, there would always be an agenda if he succeeds or fails with Spain ![]() I wonder why Pep didnt take the Azzuri job though. It would have been the perfect platform to prove himself. ![]() |

raumdeuter:Ferguson retired more than 10 years ago. Pep's contemporaries are Klopp, Tuchel, Zidane etc and all of them don accept NT jobs. Pep should also accept one and he should stop ducking |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 9:17pm On Aug 03 |
andrewbaba44:Pep's contemporaries Zidane, tuchel, klopp etc have taken up NT jobs. Pep should also take one up - we need to see him perform where there is no £1bn to spend in TWs . He should stop ducking like a coward ![]() |

Godx:Sir Alex led lowly Aberdeen to European cup winners Cup glory - an achievement that eclipses all of Pep's achievements in this context. He also accepted the Scotland NT job and didnt duck like Pep the coward. It is on Record that Fraudiola chickened out of the Italy NT job when he realised that a deal with the Italian Mafias is completely different from the one with Arabic sugar daddies that hand out blank Cheques to managers. Pep should take up an NT job Asap. We need to see him in a scenario where there is no 150m to spend in January when a season isnt going as planned ![]() |

Godx:There is absolutely no proof that this was the case and the evidence on ground suggests otherwise. Pray tell - how come the same Chelsea board has suddenly and miraculously decided to entrust the manager with transfer making decisons? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 10:13pm On Aug 03 |
Fraudiola was spot on.

Jamiuokolaa:Ferguson contemporaries like Del Bosque, Lippi, Hitzfeld all coached National Teams Why did Ferguson duck all through and avoided coaching NT? Is it because it will be hard to get Howard Webb to make Scotland win? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 10:23pm On Aug 03 |
raumdeuter:Can you stake your hand that this is true? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 10:26pm On Aug 03 |
Jamiuokolaa:You mean the stint where he coached the NT and didnt even make it past the group stages, How many world cup games did he win sef? No wonder he came to hide under Howard Webb |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by andrewbaba44: 10:28pm On Aug 03 |
Jamiuokolaa:Your shaking hands alex fraudguson should go and take one first |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 10:28pm On Aug 03 |
raumdeuter:Good that you have gone to check and avoided amputation like Eruditor ![]() Pep should also go and take up an NT job just like Sir Alex did. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 10:29pm On Aug 03 |
andrewbaba44:He did with Scotland. Pep should also do the same |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 10:37pm On Aug 03 |
Jamiuokolaa:Fergsuon won 0 games at the world cup which made him run to find Howard Webb |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 10:39pm On Aug 03 |
raumdeuter:Ferguson accepted an NT job Pep should also do the same - he cant be running away from challenges like VVD abi Airmark? ![]()

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 10:59pm On Aug 03 |
Jamiuokolaa:Fergie nah fear fear coach. Never coached a top team outside UK, rejected England twice. Also turned down Scotland multiple times even though he already coached and failed them. Pep for really stain Fergie white for EPL if baba waited just a bit. Alll due respect to Fergie, them no be mate for coaching. When they met, and they met not once but twice.

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 11:03pm On Aug 03 |
AirBere:Ferguson coached Aberdeen a bottom team and led them to glory. He also took up the Scottish NT job. Pep should do the same. As we have seen, he sharply ruled himself out of the Azzuri job when he saw that it isnt a sugar daddy thingy. All of Pep's contemporaries have taken up NT jobs. Make himself do collect one.

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 11:05pm On Aug 03 |
Jamiuokolaa:But Scotland is part of UK! |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 11:06pm On Aug 03 |
AirBere:Ehn make Pep collect any NT job |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 11:10pm On Aug 03 |
Jamiuokolaa:May be he's waiting for Sir Alex to take over England after rejecting them multiple times. The same people who told Pep to come to EPL and prove himself also begged him to leave the league. This will happen once he starts farming Euros with a European side. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 11:17pm On Aug 03 |
AirBere:Sir Alex was wasnt in between jobs when the England offer came . He was fully engrossed in the UTD project. Pep should stop being afraid of the absence of sugar daddies and lack of transfer windows at an NT job. He should embrace the challenge like them Klopp, Zidane, Tuchel etc. As at this moment, Fraudiola is a scared chicken afraid of getting 'drimbled' - same thing wey we take dey mock VVD. Baba no wan stain him white

Jamiuokolaa:Did he reject England twice? Did he turned down Scotland multiple times after he already coached and failed them? After retiring from United, why didn't he help Scotland win euros or help Burundi win nations cup? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 11:29pm On Aug 03 |
AirBere:Sir Alex coached a National team during his active career. He didnt duck like Pep is currently doing. We need to see an NT stint on Pep's resume...just like his contemporaries. He should stop running away - worse case scenario na fail he go fail..no be say he kill person ![]() |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Godx: 11:29pm On Aug 03 |
Jamiuokolaa:Many words while saying nothing. Ferguson achieved nothing outside the UK. He never dared to test himself abroad because he knew his 'Queen's English' and comfort zone would be exposed the moment he left British shores. Show me Ferguson's international managerial achievements first. Then we can talk about Pep. Until then, this debate is pointless. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jamiuokolaa: 11:33pm On Aug 03 |
Godx:Ferguson won the European cup winners cup with Lowly Aberdeen. What has Pep achieved outside the comfort zone of star players, sugar daddies and blank cheque books? Absolutely nothing! Godx:Show me Pep's record of not ducking like the scared rabbit that he is. Until then, y'all got no point. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 11:35pm On Aug 03 |
Jamiuokolaa:This is what a top coach does. He stepped into 3 of the top 4 leagues in the world and dominated them all. Pep's biggest dominance ever was in the EPL. Your Principal when he met Pep 😉
