Legal luminaries and fellow Nigerians, is it possible for INEC clear a candidate to contest without the basic academic qualification? If yes, does that mean academic qualifications are irrelevant in the quest for public office?

Tinubu is a mysterious man ,some how he got a first class certificate in accountancy in Chicago after he felled from the sky though he alleged that it will cause him irreparable harm if the college made public his records...

Inec should remember that Tinubu's failure of not filling his primary and secondary school certificate, will become a case study tomorrow.

There is ZERO excuse for ignorance.

Electoral Laws says every Presidential candidate must have a MINIMUM of Secondary School Certificate.

It means the LEAST qualification for clearance is a Secondary School Certificate.

Clearly, a BSc satisfies the demands.
So does MSc.
And PhD.

NO Presidential candidate needs to present primary or secondary school records IF they can already meet the requirements by providing a university degree.

That means a candidate can submit ONLY a PhD degree and be in FULL COMPLIANCE with the law.

Ok Tinubu possesses a BSC, maybe the University that u attended allowed u to register & go through your 4, or 5 year course, then graduate without a secondary school certificate?

Now I know why we have so many educated illiterates in Nigeria. That is why many Nigeria graduates cannot compete globally. Are these people so d@ft that to know that in your CV you dont need to put your primary and secondary school details there? That is why many of you have been searching for jobs and get none. In all my CVs, no where will you see the details of my primary and secondary schools there, not even my BSc. If you allow your brain to guide you, why should you be looking for primary and secondary school certificates when you know that no one can get to the university without meeting the prerequisites. Till today, someone entered the UNN to read philosophy with no credit in English, how did he get admission to the university, not even for a science course. What a shame

But why will it be secondary certificate only?
This is why the country will remain where it is. A country were we have professors, professionals of all kind,na one old man with school cert dey control everybody. So sad..

And the before and after of Apc presidents doesn't even have the school cert. One had nepa Bill,and the other attended some mysterious school

Well if you remember, Buhari ran for President without any Secondary School certificate. In fact, Buhari did not receive his certificate until he became President

In Tinubus case, its already a forgone conclusion that he never went to primary or secondary school. Its not possible to have attended secondary or primary school and have no classmates

I always tell people... Whatever that will bring tulumbu down lies in why he kept his primary and secondary school hidden. Infact tulumbu can pay the person with that information the entire Lagos state allocation monthly just to make sure that information doesn't come out.

Tulumbu actually attended primary and secondary school, because you can't study abroad without a foundation, and that knowledge will share light on his nationality, his real parents, and how he got to where he is...

So the public knowing the truth will disqualify him, if possible put him in jail for fraud... And once that happens the empire starts crumbling, and the US will finally see a vulnerable man to pick for drug related offense...

The difference is that Obi's credentials were stated in the INEC form and available for review at any time,same cannot be said for the incumbent president. We will be proceeding to Chicago State University to demand for his student file,Nigerians deserve to know what documents were used to gain admission to earn the purported degree. This level of academic insincerity reflects on the quality of his leadership,no transparency in the award of contracts,funds utilization,budget allocation etc..A Government without transparency/prudency is a calamity to the resources of the nation and its people

Why didn't Obi submit his certificates instead of writing stories?
Why is he using sworn affidavit for the only one he submitted?
What Mr Obi submitted is a fake document.
As per govt,would you rather have govts like that of Shagari,Obasanjo, Jonathan that did not do NELFUND,free technical colleges,free maternal services and massive infrastructural projects as been seen in Abuja and all over Nigeria than have a working govt like this Tinubu administration, would you?

Before asking this question, you should check the constitutional requirements for becoming a president. The minimum is the ability to read and write and have experience in certain field of endeavour.
If leadership was all about educational qualifications, the the minimum would have been a professorship! This is because leadership is not about educational qualifications but about the ability to take hard and fast decisions for the benefit of the country
