I am just imagining how the Market place will look like, if Sellers on Jijii, Jumia, Aliexpress, even on Nairaland, decide they would not include pictures of what they want to sell, once they tell us the Name, but ask us to go an search Google? huh

It is even worse, because you are advertising a USED Product, whose current condition can only be determined, on seeing the Picture of its current State! shocked

Anyway, what do i know sef. undecided undecided
First posting pictures ain't really my strong points + I do not actually use a smart phone. na small phone I dey use.

Secondly, I shared the full brand and models so it's much easier for interested persons to use google to know more about the products.

Thirdly, said products are very very neat. If I were to get the carton / transparent pack, and call it openBox, you wouldn't doubt it so no issue on that area.

Forthly, my mentality was more that a picture really wouldn't tell one anyThing should they really know what they looking for. mayBe it's cause I'm oldSchool. Kindly bear with me please.

Mind you, the second on the list is still in carton and not opened at all. Only the first and Last are completely without carton BUT still got it's pouche

Bought the first and second on the list when one of the guys I work with decided to artificially misPlace the clamp meter I gave them.
Now I have recovered the 2 of them.
Another was purchased while I was away and got an urgent big project and cost of coming back home to pick things was higher.
hence at end of the day, I ended up with 5 clamp meter and now looking to dispose off 3 and keep remaining 2

See eh, since you already got the solar panel, kindly share sticker on your inverter, sticker on the old and new solar panels so we give you final response. My issue is installer already said it wouldn't work. mayBe He/She knows better since they have direct access to said setUp. A solar panel can give more than what's stated on it's sticker due to certain situations hence reason it's often good practice to give headroom.

I still suggest we follow the installer's response since they got direct access BUT then again, mayBe said installer only plays by the book hence would dismiss even situations that would still work safely.

Plus we currently in times of poor weather. What happens when the weather improves ? and harvests increases. If your setUp doesn't have enough room, na stress or outRight wahala you go enter.

Some people here get mind die.

As in how you message person on whatsApp, didn't get a timely response and rather than give the person a call via GSM, you choose to instead ask the person if He's avoiding your message(s).

As in na person wey you dey randomly get information + guidiance from, no be say you pay am money Ooo.

hmm

Anyways, I don't use smart phone. na small button phone I dey use. WhatsApp lives on my PC hence I have access only while on PC. Should I be on the field, or jus away from my PC, whatsApp calls and/or messages wouldn't be attended to.

Common sense dictates You should give the person a call via GSM if you can't afford to wait.

MoreOver some thing wey we dey do here na Voluntary, not paid work. Don't begin to act like it's your birth right.

Thanks

Many people on tiktok are already using 625 in two pieces on it. The manual showed max 125v and 20amp

Unfortunately I don’t have sticker of the old panel but it is a Jinko 535 watt bifacial panel. I’ll post the 585 watt sticker below.
My installer is just an experienced electrician that knows how to install solar system, it’s not like he is one sophisticated professional, so I think he just plays by the book like you said. Infact he said my Haisic inverter is the first time he is installing the brand so it’s not like he has full knowledge or experience of the particular brand. When I asked him if i can even install two 400 watt panels, he said my inverter is too small and can’t carry it and that I’ll also need MPPT for it to work . (I wanted to argue but I just let him be).
I’ll show him the manual of the inverter so he can confirm himself, atleast he won’t say he knows better than company that produced it.

using the 2 solar panels means you either outrightly exceed spec of the inverter OR you are exactly on it's max which leaves no headRoom for spikes.

YES it would work BUT would suggest you don't bother except you could afford the risk. We currently in rainy season, what happens in times of good weather ?
Even during times of bad weather, 2 people with exact same setup can get different results. Don't judge one based on result of another. When and if e happen, you would be left alone to lick your wounds.

If you should go ahead, you are taking a risk that even if doesn't spoil anyThing, could still end up not charging well as soon as the sun comes out enough that the solar panel's output increases.

Mind you, even if it works both NOW and during dry season or times of good weather, it can never be performant because the MPPT would be running at a range not good enough.

Don't sell the solar panels or try to downGrade to lower wattage. instead try to sell the inverter to get another 12v or 24v BUT of higher limits.

Would have suggested getting an external charge controller BUT that would mean loosing some perks of a hybrid inverter.

That's why it pays to not randomly buy things. Have a plan, then make room for growth.

Sir when the owner of a thing gives you go ahead does it not mean you should go ahead since the company has already tested it. The manual says go ahead.

When badly installed, there will be roof leaks. There is also a fear that their house could go up in flames. Ironically, the same landlord also allows tenants to put generators anywhere they please and store petrol in their homes, without thinking that it's a fire hazard.

Solar Inverter Installation & Electrical Installation

If you've installed solar for a while, you've seen this: a customer asks for a 5kVA quote, you send it, they say "thank you," and vanish — then you hear they bought elsewhere. Most installers assume price was the issue. Often it isn't. Think about your own buying behaviour — when you're spending millions of naira, do you commit to the first person you speak to, or do you compare, ask questions, and look for reassurance? Your customers do the same. A quotation isn't the end of a conversation, it's the start of one. The installer who keeps answering questions and following up professionally usually wins the job, even when they weren't the cheapest. What's the biggest reason your customers go quiet after a quotation — price, trust, or something else?
