Chelsea were going to pay the agreed 25M for Sancho but he refused to accept a pay cut that's why the deal fell through.

Accepting Sancho's 300k demand would have made him unsellable (see how hard it was for Manure to ship him out cos of his wages). It would have been a Raheem Sterling situation all over again
