10 Punishments For Disbelievers In Jahannam (hell)! by Rashduct4luv(op): 8:40am On Aug 06
In Islam, Jahannam (Hell) is described as the place of severe punishment for disbelievers and evildoers in the Hereafter. The Qur’an and Sunnah provide vivid descriptions of the torment and consequences awaiting those who reject faith and persist in wrongdoing. Here are some of the key punishments and "rewards" (in the sense of consequences) for disbelievers in Jahannam:

1. Intense and Everlasting Fire
The blazing fire of Jahannam burns continuously, consuming the skin and flesh without relief.
“Indeed, those who disbelieve will be in the punishment of Hell, abiding eternally.” (Qur’an 2:39)

2, Boiling Water to Drink
Disbelievers will be given scalding water that tears apart their intestines and causes unbearable pain.
“They will be given boiling water to drink that will sever their intestines.” (Qur’an 47:15)

3. Chains, Shackles, and Burning Garments
They will be bound with heavy chains and wear garments made of fire, intensifying their torment.
They will wear garments of fire, boiling water will be poured over their heads.” (Qur’an 22:19-20)

4. Eating from the Tree of Zaqqum
The bitter fruit of the cursed tree Zaqqum is the food of the sinful in Hell, causing further suffering.
Indeed, the tree of Zaqqum is food for the sinful.” (Qur’an 37:62-68)

5. Scorching Wind and Shadow of Black Smoke
Hell is surrounded by a scorching wind and a dark, suffocating smoke that adds to the punishment.
A scorching wind and scalding water.” (Qur’an 56:42-43)

6. Darkness and Confinement
The inhabitants of Hell will be in utter darkness and confined spaces, increasing their fear and despair.
They will dwell amid scorching wind and scalding water in the shadow of black smoke, neither cool nor beneficial.” (Qur’an 56:42-44)

7. Continuous Renewal of Punishment
The torment in Hell is renewed repeatedly, with no respite or end for disbelievers.
Every time they want to get out of it, they will be returned to it, and it will be said, ‘Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny.’” (Qur’an 6:128)

8. Eternal Separation from Allah’s Mercy
The greatest punishment is being cut off from Allah’s mercy and presence forever.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The worst people in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be the double-faced people...” (Muslim)

9. Regret and Despair
The disbelievers will experience intense regret and hopelessness, wishing they could return to life to do good.
They will say, ‘Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to life], we would do righteousness.’” (Qur’an 23:108)

10. Physical and Spiritual Torment
Both the body and soul of the disbelievers suffer in Jahannam, with pain and punishment beyond human comprehension.
Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses – We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through, We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment.” (Qur’an 4:56)

These descriptions of Jahannam serve as a powerful warning to disbelievers and sinners, emphasizing the severe and eternal consequences of rejecting faith and committing evil. The punishments are both physical and spiritual, continuous and intense, designed to deter people from wrongdoing and encourage turning to Allah’s mercy. We ask Allah to protect us from Jahannam entirely.

Your attached pix says "passing by hell" but you said "shall go into it"!

Why do some Christians lie to denigrate anything Islam?

I have attached it before you remove it so that everyone can see exactly who you are!

Continue to play with the versions of the translations of the Qur'an.

It is clear you lied that the verse says "you all in Islam shall go into it".

Simple English!
Passing by: means to move past a person, place or thing!
Go into: Entering a physical place

Aside killing wall geckos and non-muslims, does 'Allah' give any criterion as a hundred percent assurance for passing through from hell fire, after burning for a while, to Aljannah like the way Jesus promised Christians that if they truly believe in him and follow him they'll never be cast away and they'll get to heavenly mansion?.
If NO, then why would you want me to follow someone that never gave me the assurance of making Heaven by what is within my capacity. He promised that he doesn't know whether I'll make Heaven and nobody knows whether I'll make Heaven even if I follow Islam down to a T and the Qur'an down to letter with my whole heart. It's only God that knows who will make Heaven and the standard he uses to qualify them to heaven is known to him alone.

So, if there were standards that he uses to qualify people to heaven why didn't he state it clear to us so we can fully follow it and have hundred percent assurance of getting to Heaven instead of killing the innocent humans and geckos to make Heaven?.

Honest question (I swear, no malice intended):

You guys truly believe this?

You guys really believe a god will actually do this to people he created?
Does this really (honestly) makes sense in your head?
This doesn't sound maliciously evil to you?
How can you honestly even love a god like that?
Why would anyone ever want to be identified with such a god that can think up this kind of evil?

I want to believe these statements from scripture are figurative, but most worshippers want it to be true.
This thing always baffles me, and its's really scary that people actually defend this.
I feel like a god would be smarter than this, because he understand human weakness.
Even I (evil as I might be) can never do this to anyone, not even the devil himself.
Make me understand please.

Re: 10 Punishments For Disbelievers In Jahannam (hell)! by BlackViper: 12:12pm On Aug 07
The verse you are both referring to is Qur'an 19:71. In a common English translation, it reads:

"And there is none of you except that he will come to it (Hell). This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed."
Another translation renders it more explicitly:

"Not one of you but will pass over it. This is a decree your Lord must fulfill."

The Arabic text begins:
وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا
Transliteration:
Wa in minkum illā wāriduhā
The key word is وَارِدُهَا (wāriduhā), from the root w-r-d, which means "to come to," "to arrive at," or "to approach."

This has led to different interpretations among Muslim exegetes:

Many classical scholars understood it to mean everyone will pass over Hell, often by crossing the Ṣirāṭ (bridge) that spans Hell. The righteous will cross safely, while the wicked will fall into it.
Some scholars interpreted it as entering Hell, but only temporarily for believers before they are delivered.

So yes, there are Islamic scholars who interpret that verse as saying that Muslims will go thorough hell and not pass by it.

There's even a hadith where Muhammad tells Allah to pluck his followers out of hellfire.

So Antiislam is actually right depending on which interpretation you align with.

Just ask Antichrist Antichristian and he will confirm what I said here.

What the verse meant is clear. All Muslims will pass over the Sirat bridge. Non-Muslims won't pass over that bridge as they are going directly to hell. Muslims passing over the bridge will move at varrying speed according to their deeds and beliefs. Some sinful Muslims will fall iinto hell from the bridge to be punished for their sins for as long as Allah wills till they are later admited into Paradise.

Antiislam is not right according to the correct interpretation! You just align with him as you both are Christians and one of a kind!
