I know this one may be funny to some people, but they were also part of it, going to school in group and the crave for class pictures with each successive climb up the educational ladder

grin What a time to Remember! just like yesterday but they were really good old days to relish for a lifetime. Days of willie willie, NTA Frank Olize Newsline etc. In short, they were really the good old days of yore. We really enjoyed ourselves.

A time when crime was at its lowest. A time when people can take visitors in their house to sleep over without knowing who they are. A time people sleep with their doors opened without being afraid of any danger.

Movies like "sound of music" there was a chewing gum they sell for 50kobo, it's twisted at both end... Something "banana".
An exercise book with someone tie to a stick in a manner like they are roasting the person.

We use paper to create a boat, to create a bird where you pull the tail side and the wings start's flapping.

Hahaha... That football match with the cover of Coca-Cola bottles was the main thing back then in my estate.
We played competition and one of us who was creative did a trophy using cigarettes linings for gold, silver and bronze.

Chai..pepper snacks those years grin what of goody goody chocolate candieshuh Our favorite game those years was bottle seals (canta) leagues. Back then, we used to look forward to NTA's 8:00PM programmes. On Mondays, it was Zone 9. On Tuesdays, we had "Soliatre." On Wednesdays, it was "This is us" or something like that. Then, on Thursdays, we had the very best of all times, the real baba of TV programmes, "Super Story," by Wale Adenuga Production, with that their slogan, "we are nothing but pencils in the hands of the creator grin" and that their very emotional theme song..."This is super story, a life of strife and sorrows.... ; grin... Missing this one was like a death sentence. Then on fridays, it was "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." On Saturdays, it was football matches, both old and new, from morning till evening, especially on DBN (Delta Broadcasting Network). We also used to rush home from school every evening to watch either "Tom and Jerry" or "My Book of Bible Stories" cartoons. What of hiring movies? Me and my three siblings, plus our housemaid used to contribute #5 or 10 naira each to hire a #30 naira movie from hiring centers especially during holidays. We would watch the movies after we had done all our house chores for the day. Then we return the movies back to the hiring centers grin before mom came back from work. l can give anything to go back to those good old days l sweargrin

So. You can knack your neighbour's daughters belle abi?
That was how we were playing hide and seek, me and one fine compound girl hide for correct position, and just when I was about using the opportunity to explore, na so my "useless" younger brother found us. I never got to explore till crisis in Kaduna separated us
