Wow.. look at the huge difference

With dilapidated structures everywhere.
The hostels in most of this federal universities are not even fit for the rearing of chicken 🐔.

Our universities need adequate funding to be teaching the students practical not theory only. Some unis have extra land to establish so many things apart from school building

The Chinese have been the one taking most of the road construction in Nigeria, then I wonder where are the Engineering old students

Waste of land. Unecssary land grabbing.

Wasted land that can be deployed to other uses. Anything more that 1,000 ha is a complete waste. Why travel from one end of the world to the other just to attend classes?

I honestly expected universities of agriculture to dominate this list because by the nature of their area of specialisation, they should have a lot of land to implement their large scale farming projects.

How is it land grabbing? There are hundreds of such lands lying fallow all over the country. At least these ones are not the so-called ungoverned spaces

Is it by largest land or by product output... students who create , design, build stuff that break new grounds

I doubt that of unical cos 98% of malabites don't even know the end of the school. That school is way bigger than uniuyo

Uniben is supposed to make the list.

The university is an architectural master piece. That's why it IS called Africa's most beautiful campus..

It's not all about buildings and beauty though. But if you are not a majorly A student don't try admission at Ife because academic there is too rigorous.

Abuja has small landmark but the higher institutions of learning is very large, maybe it due to federal capital territory.

I remembered recently when the minister of FCT has to cut off some portion from federal university.

University of Ilorin is a poorly planned university.
OAU stands out when it comes to proper planning and infrastructures

Irrelevant things! Na land areas we wan chop? No good infrastructure, no good lecture halls, lectures striking every time, problems in all our universities. A beg!

this report is very accurate….I could still remember my time in unilorin, from the school gate to main campus is kilometres away and even the land have small communities Within school land and I just hope the land will be better utilised for better productivity like agriculture.

They should sell the lands and fund reputable foreign students scholarships

Exactly! I was even surprised to see Uniport on that list. Uniport is not that big, both Choba and Delta combined.

Well, whatever the size, yet producing NOTHING worth being called Next Gen Innovation.
The best universities in the world don't need that much space to make global Inventions.

Big land for nothing but stress; stressing students before lectures. Build high rise buildings with elevators, invest in innovations, give grants to student for projects, but no. Curse of a FG since time immemorial.

FUOWE is Federal University Oye-Ekiti different from FUTO- Federal University of Technology Owerri.
It seems the W in FUOWE was a mistake it supposed to be Y.
