This coach should be sacked. He prefers to used 100% foreign players who are very old and should retire instead of selecting some of our young talented players in the local league. It is very sad. How will be young grow ? |

Whatever the outcome, NFF sack this man after this tournament. Strict Rule to guide the players especially social media interaction. Tactical drills should be bane of their training cos I'm ashamed with their displays in this tournament. |

Ballmer:Here you go again Is this the only matches he has coached Nigeria? Last time out He lead them to win la decima Aka Mission X Even beating Morocco in there dreaded home venue Where super eagles failed and even Senegal saw hell. Yet from 0-2 he went on to win 3-2 |

Professor822714:Don't mind them. Later they will run to Abuja to sing "na our mama be this o" and receive $100k without any single improvement in their tactical flair. Mixing politics with sports. Group stage World Cup they get knocked out and the cycle begins again! |

Whichever rule is used, Nigeria would still have qualified by retaining the second spot. The drop-off is between Malawi and Zambia. If they use goal difference, Zambia will qualify and Malawi will go home. If they use head-to-head, Malawi will top and qualify while Zambia will go home which is what happened. Don't drag Nigeria into what is not its business. ARISHEM: |
