I can see many hypocrites on this thread commending Governor Otti who will never do the same if it's FCT minister or minister of Works who have also perform well in their respective ministries.

This is because of buses while their mate Lagos n Abuja are building electric trains.

E sure for me e no fit beta for those governors for east if this is the best they can do.

Have you come across a video of that the inside of that terminal looks like on a good day? If you have, you won't be asking where the crowd will come from

In neighbouring Imo, all the buses shall be forced to ply only the state capital roads.

The two modern bus stations for Imo are located in the state capital.
The bus stations for Abia state are in Aba and Umuahia.
Imo state governor is fighting assumed enemies in his federal constituency.

Aba is better structured than any cosmopolitan city in Nigeria. It's British that planned the town, not failed Nigerian leaders.

The city was replanned and restructured (Bus stops and new facilities) to accommodate the rollout. You don't buy an electric car and take it to the interior village without electricity to use. It will become a toy.

I stay in the state...You will just have to line up for the buses. Aba is a commercial hub. Commuters from Umuahia to the Aba is a massive traffic that the few buses could not handle, hence the plea for more buses.

The beauty of this transit is - comfy movement, charging ports, clean environment, "Mortuary standard AC and television.

Their charge is half of what the cheapest coaster buses collects in the state.

Otti's only defect is his treatment towards civil servants.

U don't know this, i dey Aba, people dey line up in every bus-stop waiting for this to arrive, and it doesn't waste any time at all.
It even the fastest within Aba and Umuahia, not and can never be a mistake, it's also for easy transportation of people to Abia South, North, and central. The government said that very soon the bus will be covering owerri, Enugu and other SE cities.
Although it's like this due to the low transportation prices because a normal transport of 2k, this will collect 800 naira, or likely 1k, very convenient, gentle, AC coverage, very comfortable seat/chair 💺
I'm talking out of experience not by assumptions, Aba have population greater than what we're seeing in the paper.

Abia had very low infrastructure more over he is not borrowing to build them to I give it a pass

My issue is a state where revenue is less than debt service and recurrent expenditure doing infrastructure projects with borrowed money

Two the bus seems to be viable and with enough population to service it each bus can make 100k to 400k daily making it very viable

By your logic they won't be being extra buses if no one wants to wait to use long buses. So where is the demand coming from?
