But am always okay with bitter-leaf soups.

Stop buying cheap food from road side, you will hear. Why won’t it make you purge.

Buy properly cooked food from certified outlets and you won’t have a problem with all those you listed.

Vegetables and beans are generally known to loosen the stomach, purging is extreme cases of excessive consumption

Tinubu's economy has made my stomach immune to anything. No matter what I eat I won't purge. Even if I eat half done egusi, ewedu or ogbono nothing will ever make me purge.

It's either bacterial or chemical. Serve your soup from the fire. If you eat hot and it still purges you, might be chemical. Always rinse your market-bought vegetable with baking soda, and then with plain water.

If you still purge, might be some kind of irritable bowel issue.

Nyamanyama is either bacterial or chemical.

This is so me. When I first started living alone I was constantly buying food and struggled with diarrhoea for nearly 2 years. I used every antidiarrheal medication there is to no avail until recently when i learnt I have a medical condition called bile acid malabsorption that made my gut extremely sensitive to dietary fat and oils which was heavily loaded in the foods I was buying.

Now I prepare my own meals no matter how tired I am with a teaspoon of oil at most and I've been fine for over 2 months now.

These days Egusi doesn't purge me unless very peppery but u see that vegetable soup ehn, I eat it with flagyl......another notable mention is moinmoin tho not a soup......and I loooooove these meals o

Blanching is better . Which will get rid of whatever.

Salting is better.

Blanching will wilt and overcook your vegetables easily, and you will flush some of the nutrients down the drain.
