The winner goes to the *inter-confederation playoffs* for a final chance to qualify for the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil

Nigeria lost 0-1 to Cameroon in the quarterfinals and South Africa lost 2-1 to Morocco, so both are now fighting for one of Africa's 2 playoff spots.

After the end of the quarter finals games

Also their victories in the quarter finals means they will play the semi finals and a chance to produce a new WAFCON champion

South Africa will beat them. The team, super falcons, needs a complete overhaul. Young and fresh legs must be injected into the team, and more importantly, the present coach has to go. As presently made up, the super falcons don't deserve a world cup slot. They are too weak.

The goal keeper is overrated, the keeper finish Nigeria from the first game to Cameroon.

The only reasonable reply I've read on this thread.

We have won it so many times It isn't our birthright. We play well we win, we don't we loose. Other countries are also humans.

Moreso, they are old and the Nigeria I know will continue to depend on them till their 40s if care isn't taken.

Same thing with the national team. Instead of scouting for younger talents the NFF will go to sleep and expect old men and women to deliver always.

They have served. Honor them and resign them.

I think this is good for the sport and for Nigeria. We have gotten too comfortable with the same set of players without integrating younger players.

The coach is another misfortune. Lacks technical knowledge.

No need! . They should forget about the play offs, because they can't qualify for World Cup this time around. Rusty/below average team and technical crew.

Funny thing is Cameroon didn't directly qualify for the WAR ON. They were later on added.. Kudos to our girls for the great jab..lol
