Please is it advisable to set your 2.4g band selection to bandwidth 40MHz only instead of 20/40MHz ??

I want to use it in my room. I have two android boxes that only use LAN connection. One in the parlor and one in my room. I can’t run long wire to both of them. So that was why I bought the WiFi extender to use with one of the android boxes. The main router is far from the TV in the parlour and also far from my room. The TP-link router has been working fine for the TV in the parlour but it’s always a hassle whenever I want to watch football in my room and I need to use the apps on the android box. I have to take the TP-link to my room to use it and my kids won’t be able to use it to watch their cartoon in the parlour. With the WiFi extender, my kids can use it in the parlour as it’s closer to the main router to enable them get decent speed while I can use the TP-link in room and get maximum speed. The X25 pro should have been the one I use in the parlour instead of buying WiFi extender but it can’t receive internet wirelessly to broadcast. So it doesn’t make sense running long cable to it as I can run the long cable directly to the android box and e go disfigure parlour. I hope you understand now

I was quite disappointed with the X25pro for not being able to extend wifi too when I was trying it until I found the solution with LAN cables, which is the better option. The paragon software shows a menu in the X25pro that looks like the wifi extender should work but it doesn't.

That WhatsApp status buffering sometimes ain't related to your network speed cus it happens even with high speed internet na just WhatsApp server

No deal is worth that Airtel Android box. 25k with one month free unlimited sub. I bought it when sub was still 20k for Airtel unlimited router. So I dey buy android box for 5k. Got the second one(latest version as of last year) for 10k from someone here. Tell me how mi box wan offer value pass that one. And the android boxes are of good SOC that my kids are playing emulated games (PS1, game boy advance, PSP, Super Nintendo) on it. Wetin else I need?

Yes naah. Na why I dey tweak dey find WiFi extender naaah. But it’s worth it. Ram is 4gb/32gb for the 1st model but the latest one I bought I think it’s same spec but the SOC is different and better and it works with Netflix as the 1st generation box doesn’t work with Netflix again

How did you get the MTN 25gb

MTN 25 years anniversary. Just download or update your myMTN app to the latest version. Log in and you should see a pop up to redeem the 25gb. It’s just for one day and expires tonight. If you don’t see the pop-up, close the app and open it. Keep doing that till the congratulatory message pops up

I did the MTNN 25GB freebie with one of my Hynetflex Sim cards. I inserted the sim inside unlocked X25pro and it's working. This means the ODU sim will probably work in the X25pro because MTN Hynetflex Sims don't work in other network routers.

Meanwhile, all the 4 MTN frequencies I can see here have bandwidths of 20. Only a few frequencies in band 7 and band 1 on Airtel have bandwidths of 20 and 15 respectively. The rest have 10.

The ping is still poorer than Airtel's here though. But those bandwidths must be something.

I noticed the speed is capped during the day but off peek hours from 1 to 7am the speed can even hit 700mbps sometimes

if this is true then it has a hidden FUP. Try to hit 1TB and see.
