I know this will sound unbelievable but it's totally true.

I bought the MTN ODU on a certain Saturday and magically from that day I started getting 50Mbps on the Airtel ODU which was rarely stable.

After about a week+ out of frustration I sold the MTN ODU on a certain Sunday, after all the Airtel has been great so far, but guess what, on Monday the Airtel ODU is back to default poor reliance mode that made me want to switch in the first place 🤦🏾‍♂️

how much did you get the MTN odu and how did you go about it

What's wrong with Airtel ODU, I got mine on Friday but the experience has been terrible. It only works well in the midnight, network keeps fluctuating, reading kilobytes in the day time

I noticed the speed is capped during the day but off peek hours from 1 to 7am the speed can even hit 700mbps sometimes

Can I use another Airtel Sim with my ODU router, it came with eSIM but there is another vacant physical sim slot underneath the outdoor unit?

All Airtel sims should work in it. You'd need to go into the menu and select external sim for it to work.

You can sub small data if you don't want to spend big on unlimited 25k at the moment until you have enough budget to sub the ODU.

If your reason is because you want to be moving around with the sim (that is removing it and inserting in a compatible router while traveling), you should swap the esim for physical sim.

There are so many conflicted stroy about this MTN ODU being capped or not. Can we get to the root of this before some of us use our last card take dey chase rubbish, cos all this network be devil spawn

Last card to chase 30k device? You should believe either side of the story or buy it for science. That is buy and use it to know if it has cap.

I think I believe those who say it has no cap. You should too. They are selling it 30k whereas their competitor is selling 25k. If they cap it, they don't know game.

Just joking with the last card, I will eventually but it for science (like you said) but I believe many people have bought it. We need a first-hand review from a few people. Maybe I will check through the thread sha, cos I just found this topic today

How do you check if your MTN ODU plan is working and when it should expire. Last night, I jokingly tried to buy the ODU subscription and I got a response that I don't have enough money (ordinarily I am told I am not eligible).

Brought out my MTN ODU and plugged it in and it was working. I called the customer service to know what's up and they themselves are equally as clueless including the person who is supposedly the supervisor. I have done close to 200gb between yesterday night and this morning and it's still working although the speed is best at midnight.

I barely hit 30mbps during peak hours and it's very very frustrating though

You were trying to recharge your already bought MTNN ODU or trying a non ODU sim? Did you mean the ODU tells you you are not eligible to subscribe it? That's strange. Perhaps your message needs some clarification.
