Many Nigerians have criticized the Edo State governor for using state of roads to campaign against the Osun State governor, when most of the roads in Edo State are death traps, and begging to be repaired.

Nothing stops Davido from joining politics like Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘the terminator’ who became governor of California. He can combine music with being a senator which only involves attending senate meetings and visiting his constituency to inspect ongoing projects.

like I often say, from my observation and careful study of the Nigerian space, the real OLODO’s in Nigeria are unfortunately, those that claim to be educated. Those whose only ability is to write and speak English well… and I think you fall into this category.

A governor or anyone holding public office should be judged by how well he is able to understand the issues bedeviling his state, and address them. Deliver good governance to his people, formulate good, viable policies, create jobs, wealth and bring development to his state…… not by the number of A’s or B’s in his O’Level and not even by how articulate and eloquent he sounds on the mic.

Judging by these, the current Edo Governor is seen by many (even the opposition) as second only to the late Ambrose Alli (he is rated far above the highly educated and learned Obaseki). That put him among the best performing governors in Nigeria currently.

I love Davido but I think he goofed on this and he should be called to order. Adeleke should respond to Edo governor with his projects, his developmental programs, policies and dividends of democracy delivered to Osun people. And when it is time for this Edo governor to seek re-election, he should also be called out to show the people what he has done to deserve being re-elected.

A man is not judged by how many people he had to kee to earn a penny but how much of the laws of his country he obeys to earn a penny.

It's unfortunate that most of you have been hard wired to valuate success and achievement by how much is in your account irrespective of how it was made.
