Nothing i have heard of. I believe the person heading the agency is still pretty new, just few months on the job. It might take a while before he does anything. The last head of agency employed alot of people before existing to go stand for 2027 elections

PTDF has gotten approval to recruit like two months ago. but the number is very small. just 70-100 if I may recall.

My mind is telling me something is happening or about to happen in NUPRC…cos like 3 weeks or a month ago EFCC also denied they are recruiting today some are graduating…Uhnmm. Pls if you have genuine info lets us know.

They are not EFCC new intake, the are CCB newly recruited.

Federal Character Committee Engages Key Agencies on Equitable Recruitment and Compliance

The House of Representatives Committee on Federal Character, chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, has engaged key government agencies as part of its ongoing oversight responsibilities to ensure compliance with the principles of federal character in recruitment and other areas within the Committee’s mandate.

The Committee held engagements today with representatives of the following agencies:

1. Federal Housing Authority (FHA)
2. Independent System Operator (ISO)
3. Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC)

The engagements focused primarily on the agencies’ recruitment processes and their adherence to the principles of equitable representation in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Character principle.

The Committee also reviewed other activities of the agencies that fall within its constitutional oversight mandate, seeking to ascertain the extent to which federal character considerations are reflected in their operations, appointments, recruitment and other relevant activities.

The Committee reiterated that such oversight engagements are essential to strengthening accountability, promoting national cohesion and ensuring that all Nigerians have a fair opportunity to participate in public service and benefit from government institutions.

Be it as it may, you should note that the consolidated salary is not the take home pay. There are other allowances and benefits as indicated on the APL.

of course there are juicy allowances beyond the salary. No one should dispute that

Exactly the point I was making. To be more specific, Nuprc regulates the operations of the Upstream companies like Seplat, Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron etc. As a regulator your salary should be at Par or almost at Par with the people you're regulating
