Obidients dont want this and calk it a waste,they want their subsidy back so they can be buying fuel at 250 per liter and possibly free if possible because we have all the oil .

According to IATA,nigeria aviation industry supports over 200k jobs and generates about $2.5b and we still haven't fully optimised and developed that sector, obidients dont care,they only want subsidy back so they can be driving their cars from morning till night at govt expense and we should only be bothered about rice and beans on the table.

Why noh wait make dem finish, that airport hasn't gotten a face lift since 75 that it was built except for GEJ that built a second terminal which is still too small and insufficient.

Billions dy go down for remodeling and renovating of airports, first ladies office, first son and daughter office, last born office, girlfriends/ side chicks office, repentant Boko Haram office, dormant vice president office, president office, senators office, local government chairman office etc.

But our primary and secondary schools are eyesores, hospitals are dilapidated, roads are romanced with portholes, citizens living in darkness except they make use of generators, infact everything wacko.

You are setting yourself up for another massive heartbreak.

After this , they should give the airport staff proper reorientation so to work safe and keep up with international best airport practice.

This and others real capital projects that any serious country should embark on are ongoing all over the country.
I first flew out of MMA in 1987. The Airport was terrible then, I remember because my Nigeria Airways flight to JFK was delayed till about 4am.
Traveling for the first time, I slept at the airport. People that went with me to the Airport thought I was already in the US not knowing that I was sleeping on the floor at MMA.
The airport has gotten worse over the years and successive govt did nothing to improve the airport which is basically the gateway to Nigeria.
Under Jonathan, the Aviation Minister embezzled funds meant to improve the airport.
God.bless President inubu for all the capital projects that will improve the lives of Nigerians for generations to come.

You can loss inside Addis Ababa how? Abi na your first time to reach there? Why not try visit or fly through Cairo and Johannesburg?

Murtala Mohammed was modeled around Schipol in Amsterdam. It is a smaller version. The military should have done a better job, seeing that they were moving from the then domestic airport. That airport was opened with by OBJ as the then head of state. It was always sweet going adding through there. The airport long was due for upgrading and making it comparable to what obtains currently in developed countries. Imagine asking you for your passport physically and then immigration demanding bribes?

Thts you guys myopia laid in full bare,everyone supporting Tinubu is doing it for the money......you mean Tinubu fell from heaven and doesn't have his own people,family and friends as obi or atiku.....he has been a senator and a gov and remains a colossus in the political space......he doesn't know anybody or shares same interests with anyone.....obibis the only one that has followers.

On subsidy protest,thats the difference between tinubu and the others,1 is pragmatic,the other is timid,scared to take the hard decisions while tinubu is non if that.......we also don't want an obi that will be dictated to by obidients because he obviously can't control them and obidients have repeatedly shown they don't know whats best for the country.
