I don’t understand. Is it normal for everyone to be attracted to someone during the game? We’ve seen it happen via experiment in DW. We’ve heard of it being financially encouraged in SYE and subsequent seasons. Now, everyone’s trying to pair themselves for story reasons. I understand that some people can’t survive without pairing. It cannot be everybody.

Whatever Barry and Dessa and Neche are selling, I am willing to buy it

I was up till 3AM last night for one of the greatest nights in the season so far

Show Ya Sef is delivering like mad inside and outside Laugh wey I laugh yesterday, no be small thing

I hope you people can see that housemates can be entertaining without fight. All we need is drama. So, if you went to sleep early last night, here is a rundown of some highlights:


- Goddessa and Barry spent about 2 hours gisting and flirting. In the course of those 2 hours, Araga brought food to her, and kissed her in front of Barry.

- Keivo joins Goddessa and Barry outside to chat about the Arena games they had just played. Gerard joins them moments later and Barry pulls him for an aside, during which he tells Gerard that it was Dessa that pulled him for a chat. He acknowledges he is aware of her game, tells him Araga came to kiss her in front of him to mark territory. Says it is Neche he really likes, and will be focusing on. Mentions he is thankful that Gerard and Keivo are there to distract Dessa, so, he can dip. He and Gerard finish with the conversation, and Barry oddly enough, returns back to Goddessa is, to accuse her of having spiritual powers to know of their conversation. He basically resumes his flirting

- inside the house, Blue ans Neche are in the blue room, under duvet, talking about Barry’s sneaky ways. Neche expresses her reservations about Barry cooking spaghetti for Araga and Goddessa when Araga was injured. She says he even passed her with the spaghetti when he was going to serve Araga, and still came back down to get Goddessa’s own. She is puzzled at how he can so easily step into Araga’s cooking shoes when the man is down, because he wants to “help” Goddessa, but he says he wants her (Neche). Blue equally expresses her own annoyance that he served her with an unwashed plate he has possibly used to cut beef, and both conclude Barry is unclear about his intentions. Neche regrets cuddling with him last night.

- We move to Araga and Keivo, having a conversation about his ship with Temi. Araga is advising Keivo that he has to know how to “cage” Temi. They talk about how opinionated she is, and Keivo reiterates that he wants to learn of her, because he really likes her. Later, we see he and Temi have a conversation on the couch. Keivo is explaining that he wants to take things slow and get to know her. He says he doesn’t dance with her at the party, because he wants her to get comfortable with him. Temi is visibly bored by his slowness. However, she blushes at his compliments about her facial features.

- We see Goddessa and Sheba in the garden later. Mr Barry has left, and Goddessa is now telling Sheba about all the stuff man’s been telling her. Apparently, Barry told her he did soapy to thoughts of her, and gave her explicit details. She says she has told him she just wants him as a friend/gist partner in the house. Barry says he cannot be her friend, and is swearing on his measuring tape and sewing machine, that when they go outside, she will know who he is. He says Mr Araga may have kolobi babe from his hand inside house, but everybody will know who everybody is outside. Barry also tells her that Neche often compares him to Ricky when she is talking about her ideal man- apparently, Ricky is more her type than him.

- Araga and Yusuf are in a conversation in the garden, where Yusuf is telling Araga about how Biggie called Bells to ask if she needed a morning after pill, the morning after they had an intense make out session, that involved some dry humping. He says he can do everything else, but he’s not actually doing any penetration while on the show, he does find it funny that people think they’ve gone the whole way. He goes on to tell Araga about his type of babe, and says Bells is the kind of freaky he likes. They talk about loving sexually expressive partners.

- Oyin and Flora have their little session, where they discuss all the ship situations. They talk about how Barry is still saying he likes Goddessa and Neche, and the boys advising him to comot eye from Araga babe. At some point, Bells joins them, they talk about Goddessa and Araga’s agreement that she can dance with other guys at the party, but nothing else in the house.

- Goddessa and Gerard are in the lounge discussing music business, Keivo joins them sometime later. Barry comes downstairs to peck Goddessa goodnight (he does not go to sleep for another 2 hours after this).

- Upstairs, Araga and Sheba are helping Temi understand her ship with Keivo and where she wants it to go. She seems very unsure of things, and is just not feeling it. Sheba tells her to talk to Keivo.

- In her later conversation with Keivo, Temi reveals she kissed Tram, “because she wanted to”. Keivo is disappointed in her and lets her know. He says he can now only be friends due to that betrayal. They bid each other goodnight. Later, we see Sheba with Temi, ans Temi is now unsure if she really did want to sabotage her ship with Keivo. Sheba says she cannot have it all, and reminds her she was the one that wanted it over. Sheba leaves her. The camera sits on her a moment longer and we see her say the kiss with Tram wasn’t even worth it.

- Chimsom, Gerard and Yusuf are gathered in the lounge, discussing Bluethopia, Chim’s latest love interest. Yusuf informs the boys that Blue has her eye on Araga, and has made that clear to him as recent as “today”, Chim says Blue gave him one of her earrings and gave Araga the other. Yusuf says Araga has a good thing going for him with Goddessa. Gerard says none of the women in the house are really his spec, but he finds Kamsy is most his “vibe”.

- Kamsy, Bells, Oyin and Flora discuss Goddessa qnd how she too dey advise. Kamsy says Goddessa thinks she knows everything, and she is the root of the end of her relationship with Chimsom. The girls blame Goddessa for wrongly influencing their men. They say all the men say she has aura, but they don’t think that aura is enough, since the men aren’t approaching her for ship.

- After this discussion, we see Kamsy with Gerard, who is informing her he would like to take a step back from their thing, to focus on himself. Kamsy is disappointed as she talks about how she saw the sings and “knew they would get tj him”. She blames Goddessa for ruining the ship, and says she used Chimsom to get to Gerard, even after Gerard insists Goddessa has nothing to do with this.

-Emergency cold catch Kamsy after the breakup. We hope she gets well soon.

The way this drama has been brewing, yet, some people refused to see it because they don’t like Goddessa and don’t think she should have the attention of hot boys

As long as nobody in this group falls in last place this weekend, Biggie will probably make sure the dynamic continues.
