Flat roofs, like most things in life, have their own PROs and CONs also.

Another is, if using Long span aluminium roofing sheets, even if properly done, if a solar installer who either experienced or not, mistakenly steps on any part of the roof well enough for there to be a dent, so long moisture (rain or dew) can settle on it, it's just a matter of time before leakAge begins. I speak as both an installer and someone who's sacked his landLord + I don work well enough to see roofs in different shades.
You sacked your Landlord kwa? huhshocked shocked
I am curious to know HOW you did this and WHY.

I have been thinking of how l can sack my landlord too grin grin

But l can relate very well to that part of inexperienced installer walking carelessly over and messing up good, Flat Roofs.

I recently installed a 2.5kva solar system using Felicity non hybrid inverter but I noticed the load meter usually behave.

At times the load will be on 7% and will just jump to 14% without any extra load and it may stay like that for 1-2 hours before reverting to that 7% by itself

Have you tried checking if this load is real with a clamp meter?

Because if it's real, you may have to check for wiring issues.

Guys, I finally summoned the courage to install the 585-watt panel alongside my existing 535-watt panel for my 1.5 kVA inverter, and it has been working well so far. Even though it was only installed yesterday, I’ll still closely monitor it for a week to see how it fares.

Beautiful, Neat Install.
I love the idea of having that Masonia Board behind, instead of installing directly on the Wall.
welldone.

A few question please:
A) Is that a Combiner Box that the output of the Two Deye Inverters went into (1)?
B) What is that item labeled (2) in the pictured below, where the Battery source goes into, before entering (1) above it?
C) Is it better (or not) to have a Single 12Kva Inverter, compared to two separate ones?
D) How much is each of those Batteries and where is their dealer located?

Thanks

Look around for someone who has one and knows how to use it, so they can check if your load is actually increasing or if it's just a display issue.

Hello everyone....

I've been postponing setting up a solar setup. But I think I'm ready now.

I want to get itel Power Tank and the offer i see doesn't have solar panels included.

I want a total off grid setup so I was wondering how many solar panels could help me achieve that.

And if it's okay to get used panels instead of new ones.

Thanks

Buying USEd solar panels, no longer FINANCIALLY reasonable as it used to be so I would suggest you buy brand new BUT if you're the few who understands that a lot of brand new items from quality brands are most times engineered differently for the African markets than it is in western countries, then you free to decide otherWise.

mind you, your source still matters either way.

Would suggest you buy your items the normal way and not go for a combo pack like the iTel.

You haven't told us your max budget + use case. Those variables play pivotal role in deciding things including if to go NEW or USEd.
