You are clearly ignorant about the academic fraud he committed. I will not give you the free education here since you obviously don't know how severe the case of plagiarism is considered in academia. He already admitted to plagiarism of his PhD work but blamed his mediocre PhD supervisor.

It's not just the racist guy that investigated him, there were several people who doubted that he was qualifed as he should be. But anytime someone raised concerns, they would get threated with being accused of being racist, so they kept quiet

A reporter from one of the UK newspapers was investigating him too. He got a cease and desist from a law firm. A rather prestigious one tbh. THat left the racist to do as he wished. Because he gat nothing to lose. And unfortunately he uncovered hard evidence. It's effing sad it took a nonsense racist to uncover arday\'s lies, but as my mother said once you invite the devil into your life, he will bring a whole lotta issues and demons in as well.(One can see that in the fall of pastors in the USA. Also, what really got him was the additional fake claims. Ran thirty five marathons in thrity days, ran the last seven days with a broken femur. (How can?) Did not talk until he was a teenager (that was exposed by one of his childhood people who was also black), that he had head injury or brain tumor before his phd defence, and that he installed water pumps in brazil for a charity(charity said that's not how we do things), and that he had a pig's head put on his door (review of CCTV and other evidence showed that did not happen)

Also, he had students who wanted to complain about his not being a good lecturer. But anytime anyone of them complained, threats to be accused of racist

And then he claimed to have lectured at Harvard, Harvard disowned him

It's not just the plagarism (which was bad, and to be honest, a lot of white professors have been disgraced in uk and elsehwere over the same thing...one german politican had to resign after his phd was proven to be plagarized)....it is the stories he told to embellish himself.

And he could not get out of that one. There was even video evidence self.

Also, one thing you do not do in any confrontation with the press...send lawyers after them. That would make them and their collleagues very angry. Remember how Obama sent his attack dogs on Fox news. Even pro-obama journalists had to tell the guy that you do not do that.

I don;'t deny there was racisim....but the problem is the guy dug his grave by himself. And he is not the first academic to be disgraced. It is just that there was so much publicity around him as this kind of wunderkid academic (something like what happened with Obi invictus)...that it hid the problems from the start.

Also, the thing showcases an insidous form of racisim, called racisim of low expectations. Guy after getting his phd published one paper. In over 15 years, for eff's sake. (I am the son of a retired lecturer. The man my father had to publish at least 20 papers before they could consider him for professor. And that is for a NIgerian university ffs.)

Yes, I don't deny that racisim does not exist, but the fact is Arday used his hand to bring down Arday. There are many black academics in the UK who did the hard work and are holding prestigious professorships (Once attended a lecture by a black professor of Nigerian descent who essentially started research in liver disease in his university, singlehandedly, and was widely published, and even had trained phd students self. That's the kind of stuff true professors are made of . And he had been in the UK for almost three decades self.).

Honestly, this is not about racisim or black or white people. When person starts lying, dem go lie to support the initial lie, and keep lying until one day, e go reach am. IN ways that one no go expect. Arday should have stopped lying around the time he was doing his phd.

The thing is, when doing a pHD, you are supposed to contribute original research. It is not like doing masters, and running away, na original research (I once wanted to do phd, but I ran away because I had no original idea at all at all).

Guy copied other people's work and passed it off as his own. And the painful thing is that he copied work that is available online, which is how the racist that exposed him caught him, he just passed the guys thesis through an online antiplagarism checker. Caught.

The university had already investigated and didn't find evidence of plagiarism....it was the whole media barrage that caused this. And you trust that the issue of race will always be brought up. I feel so sad.......its bo small feat to be a professor in Cambridge at 41 years for that matter....God rest his soul.
