BATified2023:Just like how the Europeans run to your place and ravaged your area the way it is while making their place a wonder land. Post the pictures of your village and let me post mine and let's see which carried the picture of poverty...... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 We came to exploit your region to make ours better if you are not aware. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

GloriousGbola:Yes i agree thats the genesis but you must concur the whole cosequence was vigorously implemented by no one else but Wike. Recall also that was the point of his alignment with BAT. |

aswani:Okay, sorry o. APC are not struggling to win by all means. The elections is going smoothly like breeze. Only the meagre sum of slightly above 50 persons have been killed so far and that is perfectly normal. You do you.

Chucks13:2027 elections is between Asiwaju and Atiku. Obi on the ballot will only take some votes OFF ATIKU. Whether obi is on the ballot or not, Asiwaju is winning in 2027. |
| Re: 2026: Osun Governorship Election (Live Updates) by AMINDA: 3:03pm On Aug 15 |
Nexus25:False. Depending on how this election goes, the people will revolt with their votes. Even Tinubu does not believe in the phantom endorsement Adeleke gave him. We all know why Adeleke had to "endorse" Tinubu. Even with the so-called endorsement, just look at the number of persons that have needlessly lost their lives. In 2011, Osun was the only state that didn't follow Tinubu in throwing Ribadu under the bus. The people of Osun are politically independent. |
| Re: 2026: Osun Governorship Election (Live Updates) by AMINDA: 3:08pm On Aug 15 |
damoobaba:Lol. Tinubu is a Southerner, yet he only won 4 Yoruba states out of 17 Southern states with Obi clearing the entire South including Lagos. 5.6m out of Tinubu's total 8m votes came from the North. That's over 65% of his entire tally. How is Obi contesting taking votes off only Atiku when Tinubu cannot win his own Southern region over Obi? This is how he is trying to win Osun, his own ancestral state.

PDP is now an “upcoming” political party. Imagine, PDP didn’t even attempt to contest. The party simply didn’t want to waste energy and resources; they conceded defeat. 😂 I like their foresight and proactiveness. |

| Re: 2026: Osun Governorship Election (Live Updates) by AMINDA: 3:37pm On Aug 15 |
Olatundex22:Bold of you to think I care. This is Jide Sanwo-olu's aid saying a few days ago that Buhari did not allow federal might to be used in Osun because he wanted Tinubu to lose. With over 50 persons dead and still counting, I guess we now understand what he wanted Buhari to do to do in Osun from the "CENTRE". "All is fair in politics". With 5.6m Northerners voting Tinubu due to the likes of Elrufai, they still see it as conquest instead of benevolence.

I am surprised we still have people rooting for BAT cone 2027, with the present state of the economy, insecurity and nepotism, anyway only a nepotistic can root for him. damoobaba: |
| Re: 2026: Osun Governorship Election (Live Updates) by Nexus25(m): 3:43pm On Aug 15 |
AMINDA:No, the endorsement is genuine because it is beyond Osun election. There's another angle to it which is the business interest of Davido's father who is the single financier and "godfather" of Ademola Adeleke. On the number of lives that have been lost so far, it is sad to say the least. However, where political interest resides, you have chaos, destruction and sadly killings in an almost failed society like ours. Trump supporters even destroyed important monuments in the US because of politics. The issue of Osun State and Ribadu is not something to easily understand by merely looking at it from the surface, it is deeper than it appears. It was more about a team that just won a fiercely contested battle after several years of litigation and needed an identity and prove a point about their popularity in the state. The same leaders that decided on supporting GEJ gave a pass to Osun and mobilize resources for a Ribadu win in the state. |
