Adeleke worked by using the increment in Osun state FAAC facilitated by Tinubu to execute lots of projects and social welfare.
Sane people know that it is infrastructures that drive growth in Economy, Agriculture, Health etc.
Tinubu is winning with a landslide because of Nelfund,free technical colleges,free maternal services,free medicals for all pensioners,increment of the remunerations of lecturers, professors,air force,navy,army etc and his overwhelming infrastructural reconnaissance such that has never been seen in Nigeria or any other African country.

Reading this your comment shows that you are never from Osun State or understand Osun politics. Even people of Osun will never make comments like this because they know what they want and go for it. Never on sentiment. The only state that Nuhu ribadu won as a presidential candidate due to his performance in EFCC then. Osun wanted Adeleke and not Oyetola simple. Forget Party. And in the national elections, Osun will vote massively for some one with capacity in solving problems and track records of massive legacy and visionary projects.

One thing people fail to realise is that without the reformation policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, there is no way those state governors would perform to the admiration of the people. They now have more money to deliver the dividend of democracy. Since 1999, people have experienced terrible leadership across the country and almost everyone have lost hope that the country will get better. But since Tinubu came to power and transformed the economy and giving a lifeline into the country,governors across the 36 states of the country now have more money to do things that have NEVER been experienced in there state since 1999. So naturally the people will the surprised and believe the governors are the best compared to previous governors that have lead them.
In this Tinubu's administration, it will be difficult across the 36 state of the federation regardless of the party affiliation for a seating governor to be removed except a cursed governor that don't take advantage of the enormous resources they get from the federal government for the betterment of the people they govern.
This doesn't have anything to do with the party the governor belongs to, it has to do with the perception of the people about the work the governor is doing. If Adeleke had been allowed to join the APC, he would still have won because the people of Osun see him as a working governor.
So the credit have to go President Tinubu 100%. The governors know this and ALL of them will support Tinubu in 2027 and that's a fact .

That really is the point. Osun people are focused on the person and his performance, not the party. Withholding of the LG funds and the poor performance of previous APC governors angered many people.

Of course, if there's no better candidate, they'll vote for Tinubu in 2027.

So over 400K people that voted APC are not Nigerians? Election is not social media affair.
I'm from Ede Osun State. Right now, all my siblings are Adeleke's house in country home in Ede Osun State. All of them will vote Tinubu in 2027. I don't know of Adeleke himself.

But stop letting what happens to politicians determine your joy.

I wanted to Adeleke to win and I'm super glad he won because he's from my hometown, and he transformed my town and so and my town stand to gain more if he wins the second term.
On that basis, I supported him and all my people voted for him.

But 2027 is not the same thing. I hope you understand better. I hope this your so call happiness won't be short-lived if you see Adeleke with Tinubu tomorrow.

Politicians are the same!!!

The just concluded election in Osun State wasn't between political parties, otherwise that victory won't be to Adeleke. APC is super popular in the South Western Nigeria and as such will translate into the January 2027 general election. It is about the candidates and not the political parties. My concern is the figures coming from Osun State.....that will be close to a million or little above a million for their candidate in next year presidential election.

Oga, fact check any Second term transition campaigns in Osun since 1999 apart from Akande second term campaign. Non was violence free. infact, This Adeleke second term tension came with more maturity expecially when the state account was freezed, houses would have being or fire. Adeleke worked more than Oyetola, that's a fact. Oyetola 4years was so silent exactly as his ministry is not doing anything well known to Nigerians now.
Oyetola Government performance then is the main reason Osun people resisted APC not that they will not vote APC In Future if a good candidate not linked to Oyetola or Aregbesola government is presented.

What nonsense is this one saying? Economically, what's the value of that increased allocation compared to before? How much was a liter then and now? A lot of you believe you're talking to economic illiterates. What warranted the increased allocations in the first place? Do you even realize Adeleke has l also increased osun states IGR significantly? Factor in inflation and recalculate the value of that increased allocation.

APC candidate is very unpopular and APC is not on ground in Osun State. They got that number because of remnant faithfuls to their Senatorial, House of Reps, State Assembly and local government Chairmanship candidates and few elites who wanted development for Osun State and those who understand that once opportunity is lost, you cannot get it back again. OSUN is a Rural State.

Tinubu is a good man that transforms the lives of individuals he picked up from nothing and from nowhere and he made them become great. Because of this, he is beclouded by group of people who have nothing to offer him but just to use his benefaction and generosity. These people prevented genuine people from getting closer to him. SEYI Tinubu and Madam Oluremi Tinubu should work on these people.

Last year or 2024 (I will confirm), I lamented about Nasir El Rufai relationship with the President. I said it is dangerous to have Nasir El Rufai in the opposition. That was long time before his detention. I will talk on this later.

At OSUN STATE, in March, April, May and June, for a person like me that have not visited OSOGBO for over 20 years, I observed that the APC Candidate is not popular and APC as a Party is not on ground. I have been to Owerri in 2023 and 2024 after a very long time. I know, I can feel it and I can see it that APC is on ground. ADELEKE won election thrice when BUHARI (APC) was in Power and AREGBESOLA (APC) was the Governor. Now, ADELEKE is in power as Governor I entered OSOGBO it was as if no APC was on ground.

The figure you saw was the last minute effects of APC National Chairman team and those protecting their interest.

The way forward is for Madam Oluremi Tinubu and SEYI Tinubu to have personal meeting with Tinubu. They should appeal to ADELEKE through Doctor (Deji ADELEKE) to decamp from ACCORD to APC and make him the leader of APC in OSUN State. This is the Crux of the problem between ISIAKA ADELEKE and AREGBESOLA. It is very absurd for AREGBESOLA to claim to be the leader of APC in the presence of Serubawon, it is not possible. That is not possible. ISIAKA ADELEKE was more than AREGBESOLA and everybody knows and accorded him that honour in the presence of AREGBESOLA. ADEMOLA ADELEKE is far more acceptable and stronger than OYETOLA.

Tinubu should hand over APC to ADELEKE and let him start to build the party from scratch. This is what ISIAKA ADELEKE would have done if he were to be alive as Governor of Osun.

Finally, they should release all the local government allocation with interest and remove OYETOLA as a Minister. ADELEKE should forward the name of OSUN Ministerial nominee to replace OYETOLA.

The question now is who are those 400k plus individuals who voted for APC in osun state? Humans can be very wicked o.
