It's the embarrassment of those APC governors in their agbadas running away from Osun for me. People are tired of the hardship APC government has brought to Nigeria!

Yes, as long as Adeleke keeps disobeying court order on local government election in osun state and violates the local government autonomy.

Beautiful question to the APC lackeys who say Adeleke will still support Tinubu. Will he release the local government funds or continue to hold it while still counting on Adeleke's support? So dark the con of man!

As long as u keep deceiving yourself with this APC nonsense, looking for who to blame for your failures.

The APC is evil, but same members of other political parties like Kwakwanso Amaechi, Aregbesola are saints that will save u from your misery.

Bros, OBJ never witheld Lagos state LG allocation, he only refused to pay the allocation for the 37 new Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) created by Tinubu in 2004 and it's due to non recognition by the Natl Assembly
Ofunaofu:
Please, under which jurisdiction does this fall? You said the withheld Osun LGA funds do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Presidency.

Yet, when Tinubu was Governor of Lagos State, you and your ilk claimed that Obasanjo was withholding Lagos State’s LGA funds. Today, Tinubu is doing the same thing to Osun State, withholding LGA funds, and suddenly you’re telling us it’s not under the jurisdiction of the Presidency?

So when Obasanjo did it, it was presidential responsibility, but when Tinubu does it, it magically falls outside the Presidency’s jurisdiction?

These are some seriously silly excuses for Tinubu and frankly, they don’t hold water.

I'm cock sure the president will use the lg funds as a bargaining chip for support, but Adeleke now holds all the aces. In some way, with today's declared victory, he should be considered a king maker of sorts. He may choose to snub the president and anoint a rival candidate, after all, there are no more consequences to damn.

If I were in his shoes, I'd actually snub the president and play a spoilers role. Not out of spite, but out of the necessity of creating an alternate organic power bloc within the southwest.

It's so obvious Tinubu is generally unpopular, also, the SW people are becoming weary of the consequences of his chokehold on its politics.

How someone with a mysterious past can become the most prominent politician of this era in a civilised region might remain one of the biggest puzzles of our generation.
Your comment is factual and straight to the point.

My brother, the way this Tinubu hold this people to ransom, is quite alarming! Because of Tinubu, they spite OBJ and even called him an Igbo man that wanted to punish Tinubu because he was yoruba and OBJ is not! Never have I seen a people so terrible as the few supporters of this man (Tinubu)! grin
Re: Adeleke’s Re-election: Will Tinubu Continue Withholding Osun LGA Funds? by Bubbyboo2(m): 4:24pm On Aug 16
Ofunaofu:
For over two years and counting, Tinubu has withheld funds meant for Osun’s local governments, denying the councils the resources they need to function and, in effect, crippling local government administration across the state.

These, among other wicked and undemocratic measures designed to frustrate Governor Adeleke, did not stop the good people of Osun from standing their ground. They rejected the pressure and re-elected Adeleke for a second term.

Now that the people have spoken, the question is simple: Will Tinubu finally release the LGA funds, or will the withholding continue as another form of political punishment against the people of Osun?

You cannot claim to respect democracy while punishing the people
Lol they taught their Party member will be elected then they disburse it, then boom he kickstart multiple projects, then it'll be as if Adeleke is the faulty one.

Different tactics dey this people hands.

Make sure to check the left side of your brain; afterwards, check the right side, too.

You still don't know the meaning of "The Presidency", particularly in the Nigerian context.

So much for arguing across threads and occupying space on the first page

Omisore also pledged support to the APC Candidate. We all know how it ended. Why is Tinubu desperate for a Adeleke's support in order to win a Southwestern state? I thought he's performing and is widely loved across the West?

The RMAFC, and FAAC are meant to be autonomous of the President. They canvas and follow the slated constitution to distribute Federal revenue to all MDAs and agencies. This was a good design, but guess what, the operation has changed. Although, it's hard to prove and I give them credit for cleaning their records.

The FAAC is chaired by the Minister of Finance, I don't need to say much anymore.

The FAAC, and commissioners are appointed by The President. The Senate is suppose to screen them, but, again I don't need to say much.

All of them are singing "on your mandate", ",yes, Sir! Okay, Sir!" and waiting for instructions/approvals from the President or his Chief of Staff.

After your google 👀 search, I can observe that u realized that u were wrong.

Hence the use of the sentence ought to be autonomous of the president, & This was a good design, but guess what, the operation has changed.

Lol! I'm glad you're not disputing what I've said.

Beyond studying, I'm politically-aware. This government is leaving trails, even though, they put plans in place to clean it well. People are scared of doing their jobs, because they don't know if by so doing they will step on Daddy's foot that is everywhere.

Na you know mysterious past.Tinubu has been known since when he was a toddler according to one man telling me his story and he has always been a giver.
He has helped numerous people not only in politics but outside of it more than all the other Presidential candidates combined.
Tinubu is an orphan, loved because of his social welfarism and ingenuity.
There is no governor that had executed social welfare programs like him.
He is not perfect but he has proven to be someone who likes solving problems if God wills.
I think some people just don't like a stubborn, near mysterious, almost incessant achiever like him with his retinue of die hard supporters and "stride" admirers.

Dude I am always open to learning new things that can add to progress in motion.

But don’t try & trick the gullible, by claiming President Tinubu is the person holding their allocation.

Same federal government that took the states to court to separate the local governments payments of their statutory allocation from the state, all of a sudden unilaterally has the power to hold local government’s statutory allocation.

Abi u don’t know what statutory means?
