As a university professor, I’ve turned down every single interview I’ve been offered. This guy’s life was normal, then… the media started to interview him for being the 1st black CU professor. Before you know it, a full blown witch-hunt! Then boom, his life is over! Be CAREFUL!

All i have to say as a race is that, wherever you find yourself in the western world, try to represent properly because everyone has stereotypes the intend to perpetuate against black people so do you very best to insult them with your very best.

I wonder, if someone like Obama had taken this advice, would he have ever had the chance to become a Senator, let alone the first minority President in a modern America!

This thing is not as complicated as people are making it out to be. My advice to fellow immigrants is no matter what you achieve, stay true to yourself and the community that you know birthed/molded you....if you keep this rule, it will guide you and save you from most of the invisible traps that are being set.

At the end of the day, black people got to learn how to do high grade research and work hard, and then work harder, and no one would be able to bring them down.

The guy lied. NO need to bring in jews, racists, far right, nazis, etc. When you lie, it would get back to you. It would wreck you and deal with you. Man used his hand do himself. He is not the first, nor would he be the last.

There are 75 black academics in Cambridge alone, and lots more all over the UK. Why could that racist that exposed Arday not expose them? Because they did solid work that could not be beat. Solid work that no racist guy can find fault.

However I am not spending £40k per year in school fees and living expenses at Cambridge to study Sociology only to be taught by a low achieving PE teacher. The scrutiny was to be expected.

All I have to say is this: wherever you find yourself in the Western world as a Black person, try to represent yourself properly. Everyone has stereotypes they are willing to perpetuate about Black people, so do your very best to disappoint them bitterly with your very best.

I come very early to meetings here, and some devious people will say, “Wow, you’re always on time, it surprising”. Then I ask, “What is surprising about arriving early for a scheduled meeting?” Suddenly, they become deaf and dumb, as if they have no idea what they were implying.

I went to a majority-Asian church here, and during the two Sundays I attended, I noticed that whenever a Black person sat in a row, no Asian person would sit there. By the second Sunday, it was impossible not to notice.

A family of three(Chinese)walked in. They couldn’t see me from the entrance, so they approached the free seats in my row. The father saw me sitting there and immediately moved to the row in front, even though it was badly positioned and at an angle to the pulpit. He sat down and eventually had to tilt his seat just to get a better view. He glanced at me and gave me one of those fake smiles, and I pretended not to notice.

I told myself right there, I cannot worship God with people who behave this way.

Also, if you see a crime report involving a Black suspect, you’ll see people who would swear they aren’t racist commenting, “Usual suspects,” while White suspects don’t receive the same treatment. So don’t let these people use you to score cheap points.

We are here fighting one another, trying to prove who is superior, while the rest of the world looks at us and sees nothing but worthlessness. Wake up.
