How old is the husband, and when was she married out?

Besides, I have no condolence left for those people.

Shortly after the mass wedding in the region...

If the suspect was a male, the face will be clearly shown on this news.
Mrpresident1, the stonbe age barckwarrd diorg, this is one of the outcomes of the Sharia law you are promoting! Forced marriage! grin

Imagine someone graping your dota and she is asked to provide 4 male witnesses before she can get justice! And if she can't provide the male witnesses, she'll be floged mercilesly! So, she'll be graped for free! grin

That's what can happen to your dota under Sharia law! grin

Respect, Reason and Common Sense

Learn to respect other people’s practices, especially when they have nothing to do with you. This is not about English, it is about basic common sense. Before blaming mass weddings for a random isolated incidents, first establish evidence that such weddings actually caused at least one. A mass wedding is not the same as a forced marriage, and confusing the two only exposes poverty of the argument.

Not every matter that offends your sensibilities requires your unsolicited intervention. When you are confused, ask questions, that is how rational and civilised people behave. How a government’s financial assistance to facilitate marriages could logically lead to an attempted murder is still beyond comprehension. Sometimes, the loudest opinions are merely proof that confidence can exist where reasoning is conspicuously absent.
Given the current realities in Nigeria, it would be unwise to ignore these things. They have consequences. We must start to interrogate them instead of accepting problems.

But what is the essence of gathering people who couldn't afford marriage to sponsor the marriage for them? If I cannot sponsor my own marriage, it simply means I lack the capacity to properly take care of the family the marriage will produce.
Will the government that sponsored the wedding also come to the rescue? Why are governments in the North interested in ballooning the population amidths of dwindling resources? Do they see population growth as progress? All around them are mass poverty they cannot take care of, why are they sponsoring for more?
Nigerians are giving birth far more the entire EU countries put together each year, this is concerning. I can remember in the 80s and 90s when military governments in nigeria sponsored campaigns against population growth, by then, Nigerian population was not even up to 100 million.
What is wrong with civilians and black people? Why are you encouraging increment of poor people?

This is why I tell people not to trust anyone. If someone's wife can do this to her husband, imagine what she will do to her blood.

Moreover, I don't like when people say this kind of thing cannot happen to them. Rather than put yourself out of any situation you read about online, get prepared ahead in case such comes your way, God forbid.

Your use of English is terrible. Perhaps, that should be of more concern to you than the lives of people thousands of kilometres away from where you are. As for the question you are asking, there is nowhere in the report that suggests the couple in question is a product of mass wedding. Try solving your problem before trying to solve that of others.
